THE FOLLOWING MORNING, Eden heads down to a small coffee shop she and Matt found last night while driving to their hotel. It was quite a small space, and not many people seemed to be coming in or going out. Inside the cafe, it is cozy and jazz music is playing in the background. She enters and is immediately overcome by the aroma of espresso, and freshly baked pastries.

As soon as she walks in, she spots a familiar face. "Parker? What are you doing here?"

Peter looks up from his textbook, smiles, and waves, "Oh! Hey, Eden! I'm actually studying for a calculus test. I found this place the other day so I thought I might try it out and it's kind of empty, so no one would notice me here. What about you?"

"Grabbing coffee for Matt and I," Eden replies after taking a peek at the menu.

"That's... that's nice of you. I um, never really got to thank you for helping me with this. I just don't want to put anyone in danger, especially Aunt May. She means the world to me."

"You're welcome," Eden replies.

Eden orders her and Matt's drink, and thankfully for her, Matt doesn't need a too complicated drink. After she's done ordering, she takes a seat next to Peter. "How's school been since your identity has been out?"

"It's weird, like I used to be the nerd and the I guess outcast, and now everyone likes me all of a sudden just because I'm Spider-Man. I can't even go to class without someone staring or wanting a picture with me."

"I'm sorry. Maybe a disguise would help?"

Peter shakes his head, "No. They'd recognize me somehow." He puts down his drink and looks back at Eden. "Probably from my voice."

"I'm sorry. Have you talked to May about any of this?"

"Oh, no. She'd probably tell me that I need to move schools or something. And I don't wanna do that cause all my friends are here."

"That's true. Well, I hope things end up working out for you, Peter. I really do," Eden smiles gently at Peter, stands up and takes her drinks from the counter. She considers staying to keep him company, but she knows that Matt will be in a mood the rest of the day if she doesn't get him his coffee.

"You know what? Let me go get this to Matt. I'm gonna come back and we can do something fun."

The corners of Peters mouth turn upward and his eyes light up at the thought of them hanging out, "Really? Are you sure Mr. Murdock wouldn't be mad at you for skipping work?"

"I don't think so. He usually just has me sort files and cases, so I think he'll live if I miss a day."

"That would be cool. What would we do?"

Eden pauses for a moment then she says, "I guess there's not much to do in Queens that I know about. If there's somewhere you can think of, we can go. Or we could hang out at your place if you have something fun there."

"I have video games?" Peter shrugs.

"Sounds fun. Meet you back there in five?"

Peter nods and begins to pack up his stuff, "Yeah I'll see you there."
