───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────EDEN TAKES A few steps back from her window as the shadow from the darkness creeps into her room. She realizes who it is an in instant. Spiderman. She'd recognize the red and blue suit anywhere.
"Spiderman?" She hold her hand out in front of her as if it would shield her from him.
"What are you doing here?" Eden asked, her voice shaking slightly. She felt a mixture of fear and curiosity at the sight of Spider-Man standing in her bedroom.
"I'm here to talk," Spider-Man replied calmly.
Eden frowned, unsure of how to respond. "Why? What do I have that makes you want to crawl
into my bedroom at 9 at night?"Slowly, Spider-Man reached up to remove his mask, and as he did so, Eden felt a sense of anticipation and curiosity building inside her. She watched with bated breath as the mask came away, revealing the face of a young man with dark brown hair and familiar features. She felt a jolt of recognition, but couldn't quite place where she had seen him before.
It was as if she were staring at a puzzle with a missing piece, and she couldn't quite fit the pieces together.
Suddenly, it hit her like a bolt of lightning. She remembered seeing this boy at the donut shop, huddled over a crumpled piece of paper. She had been so distracted by her own troubles at the time that she hadn't given him a second thought, but now, in the dim light of the bedroom, she realized that there was more to this boy than she had initially thought.
Her heart started to race, and she took a step back, trying to process all of this.
"Wait a minute, you were at the donut shop yesterday!"
Spider-Man nodded, his eyes still fixed on Eden. "Yeah, I saw you there yesterday. I was, uh, getting something for breakfast." He gave a small, self-conscious shrug, as if aware of how strange it must have sounded.
"Can I close the window now? It's a bit chilly in here." He pointed to the open window, and Eden nodded in agreement.
As he closed the window, Eden couldn't help but feel a mix of apprehension and intrigue.
"This is so freaking weird," she muttered, trying to wrap her mind around the situation. "Did you follow me from the donut shop?"
Spider-Man nodded again, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "In a manner of speaking, yes. I wanted to make sure you were okay."
"Why? I don't know you."
"Actually... you do. That's why I'm here, to explain."
Eden raised her eyebrow and took a seat on the bed. She figured the story was going to be long so she might as well be comfortable.
"Uh, you're welcome to have a seat on the floor.. or my desk chair I guess," she shrugs.
"Oh! Th-thanks," Peter takes a seat at her chair. He takes a deep breath before starting. Peter honestly was sure where he was supposed to start or rather how he was supposed to start.
"So I guess I should start off with, my name. I'm Peter Parker..."
Eden listened intently as Peter recounted his story, her eyes narrowing slightly as she tried to remember any details that might jog her memory.
"Wait a minute," she said slowly. "I think I do remember something about working on a Spider-man case. But it's all kind of fuzzy, like a dream or a distant memory."
Peter nodded. "That's because the spell Strange cast changed everyone's memories. But I'm the same person I always was, even if you don't remember me."
