Chapter 2 *mentions of anxiety and mention of slight nudity*

-Timeskip after Seráes shift-

Seráe got off of work. Adalynn was on the phone with her parents when Seráe was home.

"Yes. We moved in just fine. School was good."

Adalynn says to her mom.

"Oh Seráe just walked in! I'll call you tomorrow ok?"

Adalynn asks and her parents said bye and hung up.

"Who were ya talking to?"

Seráe asks with curiosity.

"My mom and dad. Their move was fine. They just asked about how it was for us."

Adalynn states as she checks the time.

"Back in time for dinner. I made us a salad to go with our Mac and cheese."

She smiled and Seráe nodded.

"Thank you I'll go get into my nightgown."

Seráe states and Adalynn noticed Seráes smile.

"He came in didn't he?"

Seráe nodded furiously.

"Oh my god! Holy shit!"

Seráe avoided her by going into her room but Adalynn followed

"Don't you dare girl! Did he flirt? Are y'all gonna hook up?!"

Adalynn says interrogating her like an older sister.

"No! God no! I know from my fair share of hookups. Do not jump into it."

Seráe chuckles. Adalynn nods in understanding.

"Good point. But when's the wedding?!"

Seráe rolled her eyes.

"Calm your tits."

Seráe says casually changing behind the half closed door. Adalynn rolls her eyes back.

"But come on! He's so nice. Sweet kind. Gentle. Caring!! He seems like not a piece of shit!"

Adalynn says excitedly.

"Yes I know but even the nice guys can have a shit motive."

Adalynn nods in agreement and Seráe comes out for dinner.

"Tomorrow is a our final day for fall semester. Hopefully midterms won't beat our asses."

Seráe states as she got her books into her backpack for tomorrow. Adalynn was already packed up for exams.

"Man same here."

Adalynn says as she sits in the dining room. Ready to eat dinner. Seráe following her.

-Timeskip to tomorrow-

Adalynn and Seráe sat down in their classes. Pencils were out and the exam was being handed out to them. Both of them were terrified. However they both studied really hard. A lot of thoughts were ruminating through their head. Like 'oh shit did I study enough?' Or 'damn what if my test anxiety gets the best of me' but more importantly. 'What if I finish early and think I did well but I'm reality I flunked'. All of these questions and much more were going through their head. However they took a deep breath. And took the test. It was around a hundred and seventy five questions. Seráe finished before Adalynn. Turning in her exam. Around an hour later Adalynn was done. Turning in her exam.

-Timeskip to later-

Seráe and Adalynn came home around the same time what are the odds?

"Oh shit hi."

Seráe says going out of her car. Shutting the door and locking it. Adalynn did the same.

"Hey girl."

She says in a relived tone.

"Took or the final didn't go well?"

Seráe asks gently. Adalynn nodded but shrugged.

"Well my anxiety almost got to me but. I pulled through."

Adalynn states and Seráe nodded as they both got into the house.

"Jesus well. For me I froze for ten minutes then I pulled through. So similar to you."

Seráe adds as they went inside.

"Well fuck it we made it through we should celebrate."

Adalynn says as she put her school supplies in the chair. So did Seráe. Knowing they won't need them for a while.

"Hell yes I agree how?"

Seráe asks as she looks through her closet. Adalynn does the same.

"Well. I say either go to the mall or, ask our friend Rose if she wants to hang out."

Adalynn says and Seráe nods.

"Ask rose."

Adalynn texted the group chat. And rose responded almost immediately.

"Sorry can't make it tonight but I'll be over tomorrow. I'll give you two a nice housewarming gift!"

She texted them both and they groan.

"Mall it is."

Adalynn says and Seráe nodded.

-Timeskip to the mall-

Seráe and Adalynn went to Victoria's Secret, Hot topic, Forever 21, and lastly build a bear. They got matching bears. Which was adorable. Then lastly after the shops, Seráe had an amazing idea.

"We should get a spa treatment."

Seráe says excitedly.

"I'm in girl. Let's go."

Adalynn states they went to the salon. They got pedicures, manicures, got a super nice relaxing facial, they got massages and lastly going into this huge fancy hot tub. Talking about how their gonna ask out their crushes.

"I feel so at peace now."

Adalynn says resting her head on her arms on the table laying on her stomach.

"So do I. But my tits feel crushed against this."

Seráe says making Adalynn laugh her ass off.

"Can't relate!"

Adalynn says as they both wheezed.

"Oh well my back needs this."

Seráe says and Adalynn nods

"Fuck I know that's right. Between midterms and school in general I need this."

Adalynn states as she relaxes on the table closing her eyes.

"Thankfully we have coupons for here. Or else this place would be too damn expensive."

Seráe says as the masseuse came back in.

-Timeskip later at night-

They came back home with a bunch of bags and laughing their asses off their skin was glowing along with their newly done hair just a simple trim and style.

"I'm so exhausted. We need to watch a cool badass adventure film."

Adalynn says and Seráe agrees

"For sure!"

They got changed into their pjs and went o the couch. Watching Netflix. After a while they fell asleep on the couch. Feeling at peace and relaxed. Too bad that feeling won't last for long...
