Chapter 13 *mentions of abuse, cursing, bad past, kinda sad

-Timeskip to present day-

Slappy let go of their heads and ended the flashback.

"Woah.. that was a lot.."

Adalynn says taking a deep breath.

"So what? Are we supposed to feel sorry for your sappy backstory?"

Seráe says annoyingly and Slappy sighed for once.

"No. The whole point of this was to show you what I am capable of. To not be fucked with or played with. I killed the man who created me. My own father. I am a force to be reckoned with. Should I make sure you guys can't go to a hospital? Instead, I'll make you guys six feet under. Just like my father."

Slappy says threateningly. Seráe sighs and Adalynn looks at Seráe.

"You can have the house. We are just tired of running from you."

Adalynn says and Seráe nods.

"Yes you can have the house. Don't you want to have your own space, be alone?"

Seráe asks and Slappy shakes his head.

"No. Because the whole point of being an emperor is to rule over people."

Slappy says giggling.

"Why us? We have nothing to do with you before this."

Seráe states and Slappy shakes his head.

"That is where you're wrong sweetheart. Where your guys house is? Is what my father and I NEEDED in our time. We made a dumbass mistake of being around idiots."

Slappy says as Seráe and Adalynns jaws dropped.

"What..? So.. you were planning to live where we live? Before killing your dad?"

Seráe asks and Slappy nodded.

"It was an abandoned area before you ladies showed. It was the perfect time for my father to do his magic. However, if it weren't for the mob distracting his mind. I wouldn't have killed him. I'm free."

Slappy states and Adalynn sighs.

"Slappy. Can I ask a personal question?"

Seráe asks and Adalynn makes a cut it out motion.

"You say, you don't like your dad. You say, he chose your life for you right? You also say that you don't wanna be like him. But yet you're being just like him. Forcing others to be your slave just like how he did to you. Do you really want to be someone who you don't like?"

Seráe asks gently and Slappy turned away his back was to them. Being silent. He knew they were right deep down.

"You have no idea what I went through. He created me to be a monster. If that's what he wants then so be it. However I am nothing like him."

Slappy retorts back and Seráe continues.

"You're literally doing what he would've done to you. For what you're doing to us and more. You have to see that."

Seráe says and Slappy groaned. Trying to cover up the hurt tone in his voice. He was very sensitive about his father.

"But that does not excuse what you did."

Seráe says as they slowly walked backwards. They were about to have luck again. And escape. Which they did by slowly walking out of the hospital and taking off running. While Slappy's back was turned. However he noticed quickly and took off after them.

"I didn't say you could go slaves!"

Seráe and Adalynn panicked going to the car.

"Go go go!! We keep getting lucky how?!"

Seráe says as Adalynn starts the car.

"Fuck I have no idea but let's go!"

Adalynn and Seráe drove off to the nearest hotel. Which was a nice one but not an expensive one. They checked to see if Slappy was behind them and he wasn't. Adalynn pulled up to the lot of the hotel. Then went into the lobby to check in.

"Hello do you have any available rooms for us?"

Adalynn asks gently as Seráe kept checking her surroundings.

"Yes we do. Someone cancelled their suite and we can give that to you for a lower charge. How does one fifty sound a night?"

The woman asks gently and Adalynn interrupts.

"We'll take it. We'll be staying here for a week too."

The woman nodded adding both of their card's information into the computer system.

"Good good. Here are your guys keys and enjoy your stay."

She smiled handing them the keys however they booked it to the third floor. They walked to their room and it was pretty nice. A hot tub was there, including a nice bathroom with a king size bed. However the horrors they were going through didn't match this room.

"Thank god he didn't catch up to us.."

Adalynn states. But Seráe sighs.

"I relate to Slappy you know.. about the whole No father thing. Well he didn't really have any parental figure. Neither did I. My mom mentally abused me and so did my dad. However he was an alcoholic.. is it bad I relate to him?"

Seráe asks gently and Adalynn shakes her head no.

"No.. you are nothing like Slappy. You didn't have good parents but I don't see you going off and hurting people."

Adalynn says and they hugged.

"Thank god."

Seráe says gently.

"We still need to kill him. What if... when he least expects it. We go back to our house and finish blessing it..? That way he cant stand a chance."

Adalynn states and Seráe nods fast.

"Yes! We still have those things too! Back at home! We'll give it a week and go back to the house."

Seráe says excitedly.

"We can get back to normal.. finally."

Seráe says as she tackled Adalynn in a hug.

"Thank god.."

Adalynn says tearing up. They got hopeful. Their one ounce of hope is back. Their one final shot at defeating him was right there. Only a week away. Or.. so they thought.
