"I know exactly who's attacking the drones and believe me...it's not Batman." The Knight said and though his voice was sythesized voice you could hear the anger clearly. "But sir, the car is attacking and he's in the car so who else could it be?" one of the commanders asked. "The only one I know that likes to hack her enimies devices and use them against her oponent." The Knight mumbled to himself. "We have Gordon tied up, correct?" he asked, his head quickly turning to look at two of his men. "Yes sir." they said before the Knight quickly walked past them and down to where they were holding Barbra. "Where is she?" he growled as he glared at her behind his mask. "Who?" Barbra asked. "Shadow...where is she?!" he asked, the anger building in his voice. "Oh Shadow...she's not in Gotham that's for sure." Barbra said as she looked at him. "Then where is...that son of a bitch!" the Knight yelled as he quickly turned and left the room, slamming the door behind him. "Sir?" a militia member asked making the Knight look at him. "Get yourselves ready...we're going to get Nightwing."
Time skip
"If any of you come across Nightwing don't kill him I want him alive." The Knight's voice said through all the militia comm channels making the young dark haired girl look up. "Did you get that Nighlight?" she asked as she pushed her glasses up. "Loud and clear unfortunately. What could he want with me?" Nightwing said as he landed on another roof. "I don't know Dick and I don't think you want to find out." she said as she pushed her chair to another screen to help Batman take out more of the Arkham Knight's drones. "Not really...have any luck tracking down another truck?" he asked before gun shots rang out a few seconds later. Dick quickly jumped to another roof and ran. A drone came up in front of him making him freeze and look up at it before it shocked the militia members chasing him then crashed. "Thanks Shadow." he said with a smile. "Your welcome birdy, now keep moving." she said as she watched him from the cameras on the buildings around him. "Any militia up ahead babe?" he asked while leaning against a watertower. "Yeah, up ahead on Elliot. Be careful." she said as she pushed her glasses up. "Always." Nightwing said as he grappled up and snuck around Elliot Memorial Hospital. "Don't worry about the drone I blinded it, you have 30 seconds." she said as she watched him quickly make it to the next roof. "So did you, Barb, or Alfred, figure out who this guy is?" Dick asked as he looked around. "No but there has to be something we're all overlooking. People don't just appear." she said with a frustrated sigh making a smile appear on Nightwing's face. "I know Reid, calm down and look over everything again alright? I'll be fineon my own for a bit." he said as he looked around and saw Bruce glide by then let his gaze stop on one of the buildings cameras and gave it a sincer look and his usual cocky smile. Reid was quiet for a moment before letting out a sigh of defeat. "Yeah alright...love you, call if you need me."she said reluctently as she pushed her hair back. "Love you too and you know I will. I can't stay away forever."
Time Skip
After an hour the comms turned back on. "Hey Nightlight, I didn't think it'd take you this long to miss me." Reid said with a smile. "You'll have to wait a bit longer he's busy...but it is nice to hear your voice again." a synthesized voice said making Reid freeze. "Breathe princess, he'll be alright." the voice said in a taunting manner. Reid quinckly looked at all the monitors, all of them were on...all but one,the one for Dick's mask. "What've you done to him?" she asked while patching Alfred, Bruce, and Tim, into the feed but kept them muted. "I haven't done anything to him and I won't if..." the Knight stopped and laughed a bit. " You know I kept this one on one for a reason...now, check your phone." he said making her pause and look at her phone.
'Meet where you saw the last Robin. Dress for work.'
"Fine but let me talk to him." she said as she tried to stall so she could track the broadcast. "No." he said before his comm shut off. "You're not going to do whatever he said are you?" Tim asked as soon as she unmuted them. There was a few moments of silence. "Yes, I am."
