"Timmy you can watch that report as much as you want, it's not gonna change." (Y/n) said as they walked over with an ice pack. The events of Halloween finally coming to an end leaving the Robin bloody and bruised and his partner finally calming down from their worry. "I know....but that wasn't an accident." Tim said as he took the clean cloth from (Y/n)'s hand and passing them the bloody one to put in the wash. "Nothing that happens with you all is an accident." (Y/n) said as they came over to gently hug Tim from behind. "I think he did it to protect you, and Dick, and Babs. He loves all of you he'd do anything to keep you guys safe even if that meant killing Bruce Wayne. " they said while Tim reached up and squeezed (Y/n)'s hand and sighed. "It's a mystery for another night Tim, you've done enough for one night."
"I suppose you're right."
"Oh I'm always right. I think a shower and some relaxation is needed, come on, doctors orders." (Y/n) said making Tim laugh. "(Y/n), you just got your white coat."
"And that makes me one step closer to a doctor than you so shower, hop to it pretty bird."
After a movie and some food (Y/n) laid against Tim's chest while mindlessly tracing patterns. "So am I going to keep having to patch you up or are you hanging up the cape?" (Y/n) asked. "I can't. Bruce gave his whole life for this city I can't let it fall that far back into crime." Tim said seriously making (Y/n) smile at him and nod. "Then I'll be here to patch you up when you get home." (Y/n) said as they squeezed Tim's hand. Tim smiles before reaching over into his nightstand. "Hey (Y/n) I know I'm not very good at the....I just wanted to ask if you'd marry me? After tonight I can't imagine doing all this alone and-" Tim was cut off by (Y/n) quickly kissing him. "Yes! I could never say no to you!" (Y/n) said excitedly as they hugged him tightly and Tim slipped the ring on (Y/n). "I love you (Y/n)"
