"Jason, what happened to you?" (Y/N) asked. Jason stood up straight and turned to her. "A lot." he said coldly, his eyes held more anger than she had ever seen from him. (Y/N) wanted to ask more, to find out what happened to her father's second sidekick....what happened to her best friend? She knew her father would feel a lot more guilt over Jason than he already had. Jason was far from her father's best sidekick, if anything he would see him as his biggest failure. (Y/N) was pulled from her thoughts by Barbra talking telling Jason what he was doing was wrong but (Y/N) already knew how Jason felt just by the look in his eyes.
"He LOST you! And he mourned for you. Come home." Barbra begged Jason. "I can't go back." He said shaking his head. "You don't know what Joker did. He hallowed me out and filled me back up with hate and..." Jason said. His voice shook as if he was reliving those horrible times all over again in just a few second. (Y/N) wanted to reach out for him now more than she ever had but was held back by the ropes that kept her in place in the chair. "Jay...we can fix this." she said gently making him quickly turn on her and glare at her. "I CAN FIX IT!!" he yelled causing her (Y/N) to flinch away from him a little. "I know what to do. I take all this pain, all this blackness, and I put it all into a bullet, and I put it right between Bruce's eyes." he said as he turned away from (Y/N) and glared at Barbra. "Come back to the manor. Let us help you. Don't let Joker win." Barbra said. Jason's tense posture relaxed slightly as he turned back to (Y/N). He had a softness in his eyes that she had missed so much. "How's Alfred?" he asked softly. "He misses you....we all do Jaybird." she said softly making him smile a little at the nickname. They were interrupted by the being opened and all the softness Jason had been showing had quickly disappeared as he put his visor back down. "The Cloudburst is charged, Knight. It's time." Scarecrow said as he entered the room. "Someone put a gag on Gordon....take the little bat out of her and put her with the Commissioner. Anyone hurts her, they're a dead man." came the harsh voice that was no longer Jason but the Arkham Knight.
