"We have someone new joining the team today." Black Canary started catching the attention of the entire Young Justice team. She looked at each of their excited faces knowing they wouldn't stay that way for long. "Just be open minded." she said before teleporting someone into Mount Justice. From the teleporter stepped out a figure dressed in an orangish red outfit "Fox..." Kid Flash said in shock. The entire team stared in disbelief. They were expected to work with (Y/N) (Y/LN), a known theif and spy? "Not happening." Superboy said as he began to walk away. "And why not?" Fox's voice rang out making him turn and glare at her. "We are expected to work with a liar. How?" he said folding his arms. The others nodded in agreement. "(Y/N) was picked for the team by Batman." Canary said putting her hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder. "What does that matter? We already have one mole on this team we don't need another." Red Arrow said making (Y/N) scoff. "What would be the point of sending another? Sending in two spies would be stupid and an easy way to get caught...espcially if one is a known spy." she said as she leaned against the wall. "Besides I had a reason for doing those things." she said as she looked at each of their faces. "How can we trust you?" Artemis asked with suspicious eyes. "You can have Miss Martian read my mind if you want. I have nothing to hide, everything you could want or need to know is in some sort of superhero data base I would assume." (Y/N) said as she pushed her hair back. The team looked at each other and talked amongst themselves. "You don't have to do this you know." Canary said making (Y/N) shrug. "It's not a big deal really....you guys probablly know more about me than I do." she said ash the team turned back to them. "We will let Miss M read your mind if you let us all see through the mind link." Robin said as he stepped forward. "Sure why not...the more the marrier right?" (Y/N) stepping toward Miss Martian. "Here we go." Miss Martian said as she went through memories but one stood out.
(Y/N) was on her knees, surrounded by members of The Light but her gaze was fixed on only one of them, Klarion the Witch Boy. The feeling of heartbreak and betrayal was overwhelming. "Y-you lied to me?" her voice cracked as she searched his face for a sign that this was one of his pranks but she found none. He was serious. "We needed something and you got it for us." Vandal Savage said with a smirk as he watched the girl infront of him crumble as her realization became clearer. "It was like tricking a child really. Give me something more fun next time." Klarion said with a devious smirk. (Y/N) slowly stood up. "You never cared?" she asked while looking down. "You thought I'd really care about you? Aww poor thing...now run along." Klarion said in a teasing tone. (Y/N) looked up at them with a new fire in her eyes. "Just know there is nothing more dangerous than someone who was humiliated and betrayed by the one they love." she said as she began to leave. "Oooooo scary." Klarion said before the echos of laughter from the members of the Light chased (Y/N) out.
Miss Martian pulled out of (Y/N)'s memories and each member of the Young Justice team looked at her with a different expression, from understanding and sympathetic but others were unreadable. "Why lie when you know how it feels to be lied to by someone you thought you could trust?" (Y/N) said offering a sad smile. "I hope I don't have a repeat of that." she said as she looked at them. "Well..." Robin started before being cut off by Miss Martain. "Welcome to the team Fox!" she said with a big smile and a warm hug.
