Chris' POV:

"Wait what's this?" Lorenz asked as my security patted him down as we stood in my office behind the front desk.

"Just makin' sure you clean. That's not a problem is it?" I inquired.

He looked like he'd seen a ghost.

I told my security to purposely not confiscate the wire because I want them to hear everything I'm saying. Plus, if I find it, she's gonna try to come harder or coerce someone else to come with a recordable pen or some shit.

The FBI can get creative as hell when they want to.

"My safety is just as important as yours. That's why I have security." I said sitting down at my desk.

Justin sat in the corner and Lorenz sat down in the chair in front of me.

I was running on impulsivity for a while, but once I came back down to earth... I realized I can't even do the shit I wanna do right now.

"What's going on? Why did you wanna see me?" He asked nervously.

I chose my words carefully.

"You're no longer allowed to be at or in the hotel." I said plainly.

"What the hell?"

"I don't want to see you anywhere near the premises."

"But bro we go way back. You can't do this. Is this about the shit with Carlos? Fight night?" He asked as I chuckled to myself. This nigga workin' workin'.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but I do know that you are no longer welcomed. I'm trying to run a successful hotel and casino here and if I'm not comfortable with your presence, then you can't be around me. Plain and simple."

"But, Chris——"

"You can see your way out." I said bluntly as I looked him in his eyes.

He sighed, rose from his seat, and received glares from Justin and security.

Once he walked out, the door was closed.

I wanna knock that nigga off so bad... but I gotta wait till the heat die down first. Shit too hot right now. That agent still on my ass, so if he turns up dead now... eyes will definitely be on me.

"That nigga really was trynna get the ball rolling. Dude brought up Carlos and everything." Justin said.

"I know... I can't believe he flipped like that. They must have something on him." I said shaking my head.

"I bet they do and they probably gave him a deal to deliver you so he can get off. It was smart keeping the wire on him. They now have you on the record saying that you don't know what he was insinuating." Justin said I shook my head agreeing.

"It's ight... that fuck nigga gone see me soon." I said pulling at my chin hair.

This shit is frustrating as hell honestly. I need a fuckin' drink.

Jay's POV:

"I'm ordering us food cause it's been a long ass day." Meech said while yawning and stretching as I gasped.

"Whaaaaaat?? You getting me food? I knew I loved you." I said hugging him playfully as we walked through the lobby.

I hugged him so hard he said, "Damn girl I can't breathe."

I laughed at his remark and he smiled from ear to ear when I released him.

"You love me though." I said smiling.
