Chapter 13

The same day, 8:45 am

At school

Sam's POV

I'm at Katie's school, yelling at the principal, because Katie and that other girl were in a fight. And by "Katie and that other girl were in a fight", I really mean "Katie got beat up because the other girl jumped her". Mr. Davidson did absolutely nothing, the last time I talked to him about this situation, and now my daughter's sitting in the nurse's office, after being beat up. And he doesn't even seem to care. He just keeps saying shit like "Mr. Winchester, just calm down so we can talk calmy about this". Or "This was just teenagers being teenagers". Or "You know how girls are". Yeah. I do know how girls are. I have a daughter. I think I've got a pretty good idea of how girls are. And I know that they don't act like that other girl, unless they have no home training. Katie might be a little disrespectful, but she wouldn't treat people the way that this other girl does.

Sam: I'm not gonna calm down until you do something about this! My daughter got beat up, because you're a careless dumbass! I'm not gonna calm down until I know that shit like this won't happen! She's supposed to be safe, here! This is a school building! She shouldn't have to worry about getting bullied to this extent, or getting beat up!

Mr. Davidson: I understand your frustration, but-

Sam: "But"!? But what!? But nothing! I dropped Katie off, 45 minutes ago, and now I'm back because you don't know how to do your damn job!

Mr. Davidson: Mr. Winchester, this situation is already out of control. I think that the two of us should at least try and have a civilized conversation about it.

"Civilized"? This is as civilized as I'm gonna get with you. The next step is me knocking you the fuck out. You let my kid get beat up, because you're too lazy to help her. She's being bullied and probably feels helpless, because the main person at school that should help her, refuses to do so. She hasn't even been in school for an hour, and she's sitting in the nurse's office, with bruises all over her face, because some little bitch can't keep her hands to herself.

Sam: That's not gonna happen, until you do something that's gonna help Katie. You said that you'd help her, but instead, you did absolutely nothing. I don't wanna hear anything you have to say, unless it's something that's gonna help my child. I don't wanna hear empty promises or lies about how you wanna help, just to end up right back here, because you did nothing. Again. I'm only gonna ask you this, one time. What are you gonna do about this other girl?

Mr. Davidson: I'm gonna suspended her. Two weeks. She should learn her lesson by the time she comes back. If she doesn't, I'll take further action. But right now, a right up and a two week suspension should do.

Sam: Good. Now, if Katie tells me that those things didn't happen, I'm taking her out of this school. And I'm gonna find a school that actually gives a shit about it's students. Then I'm gonna solve my problem with you. Because after letting my kid get beat up, knowing that you could've prevented that from happening, I've got a real problem with you. And I'll be glad to put you in your place. Somebody should. And if nobody else will, I will. Do you understand me?
