In the bunker

Katie's POV

I'm in my room, playing Minecraft. I finished my school work early, so I have the rest of the day to do anything that's not school work. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to do school work today, because I was sick over the weekend. That sucked. I didn't get to enjoy my weekend, and now I have to wait until next weekend to enjoy that one. I'm pulled out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing. It's Dad. He's texting me. Why is he texting me? I'm trying to play Minecraft.

Dad: What are you doing?

Katie: Trying to play Minecraft.😐

Dad: Did you clean your room, like I asked you to?

No. Why would I clean my room, when I can play Minecraft instead?

Katie: Yeah.

Dad: So if I come check, your room's gonna be clean?

Katie: Yes.

Dad: I knew you weren't changing. You said you were gonna be playing Minecraft. And you are. Instead of cleaning your room.

Katie: I'm gonna clean it later! I'm not gonna do everything you tell me to do, the second you tell me to do it! You're so demanding!

Dad: Asking you to clean your room is demanding?

Katie: Yes!

Dad: How so?

Katie: Because you're not just asking! You're telling me to do it, in a way that makes it seem like you're asking!

Dad: Quit yelling. I get that you're frustrated, but yelling is really unnecessary. We can talk, but you're not gonna yell. Do you understand me?

Katie: Whatever.

Dad: Now, why didn't you clean your room?

Katie: Because I don't want to!

Dad: Katelyn Grace, if you keep yelling, I'm not gonna continue to be patient with you.

Katie: I'm just trying to-
