In the bunker

Dean's POV

Dean: Quit running in the house. You're gonna get hurt.

Katie: No, I won't. She yells as she continues running down the hall.

She's gonna fall, and then she's gonna wonder why. I've told her, 3 times now, to stop running before she gets hurt.

Dean: Yes, you-

*Thud*

Katie: Ow!

I told you to stop running. Judging by the sound of it, she feel hard. And these floors are hard. She's definitely injured. I can only hope that it's not a broken limb. Sam would be pissed. He leaves for 15 minutes, and I let his kid break a limb. He'd be beyond pissed, actually.

Katie: Uncle Bean!

Dean: I'm coming.

She didn't make it far before she fell. She made it to the next hall. When I get to her, I see her sitting on the ground, holding her knee. It's probably a scrape. I walk over to her and squat down to her level.

Dean: Let me look at it, Sweetheart.

Katie: It's bleeding.

Dean: Let me see.

Katie: No. I'm bleeding.

I move her hand, and see that her knees is covered in blood. The sight causes her to freak out and start crying. Now I feel bad.

Dean: Hey, it's not even that bad, Sweetheart. It's just one of those small cuts that bleeds a lot. It's not bad.

I don't think she's listening to me. I'm pretty sure she's more focused on her bleeding knee.

Dean: Come on, Munchkin.

I pick her up and carry her to the infirmary. I put her down on one of the beds and start looking for the first aid kit. This injury doesn't need actual medical supplies. It just needs to be cleaned and bandaged.

Katie: It hurts.

Dean: I know, Sweetheart. I'm gonna fix you up. Ok? Uncle Bean's gonna fix you up.

She doesn't respond, and I find the first aid kit. Now I'm squatted down in front of her, cleaning her knee.

Dean: It's gonna burn a little bit.

She doesn't say anything, but she looks at me, which tells me that she heard me. I start cleaning the scrape, and she flinches.
