"Did something happen again?" Nayeon nudged Kwangjoo after she pointed to Jennie and Lisa, giving each other cold shoulders. Kwangjoo knew what was happening but he didn't want Nayeon to be mad at Jennie for what she did. "I don't know." He lied. "They've been like this. I don't think we can do anything about it." Nayeon folded her arms before making sure the vocal line wasn't nearby to suggest, "Should we tell them that Y/N is talking to us again?" Kwangjoo gave her a look. "How do you think they will react?" Even though, Jennie has done more.
"I mean, Jisoo kind of already knows." He stopped what he was doing before turning his body toward Nayeon. "What do you mean?" Jinho walked up to them to ask something but stopped once he noticed Kwangjoo's expression towards Nayeon. "What's happening?" Nayeon shook her head before leaving so Kwangjoo couldn't question her any more. Jinho knew it was no use getting in between so he continued doing his job with no help.
"Did you tell them?" Kwangjoo approached Jennie who was alone. "Yeah, I did," Jennie answered with no hesitance. "What did you expect? They've been keeping things about Y/N eonnie from me." Jennie harshly whispered. "Are you going to tell Nayeon about what you did?" That question stunned Jennie. She then remembered how everything that happened affected her relationship with Nayeon. It took time before Nayeon decided to be on speaking terms with Jennie again. "It's no use, okay?" Jennie shook her head. "Y/N eonnie doesn't want anything to do with us again. I respect..." Jennie paused before sighing, "I am trying to respect that." Kwangjoo decided to leave the topic alone and everyone focused on their work after that.
Nayeon sent the girls back to their dorm after they had their dinner. "How was her new place?" The girls looked at Lisa who spoke out of nowhere. "Are you talking to me?" Jennie gestured to herself. Lisa nodded. The vocal line gave each other a look before listening to what Jennie had to say since they were curious as well. "It was nice, I guess. I didn't walk in further. I only saw her living room. It was her style, you know? One black sofa. A brown coffee table, I think? A TV mounted onto the wall." Everyone laughed since Y/N's colour palate was still the same.
"How about the hug?" Lisa asked next. "The h-hug?" Jennie stuttered. "Yeah, was it nice when she hugged you?" Jennie licked her bottom lips out of sadness. "Yeah, it was nice, I guess? It would have been better if she hugged me because it was me but I took that chance." Jisoo examined the younger girls' faces and knew she had to take on the role of the oldest and comfort them all. "Come on. Let's wash up and watch some movies." Everyone agreed and left before coming together again in the living room.
The Next Day.
"Hello?" Rosé's sleepy voice greeted whoever called her.
"Hello, Chaeyoung-ah." Jinho greeted her. "Are you just waking up?"
"Yeah. I thought there was no schedule for today." Rosé spoke before glancing over at the clock which read 9:00 am.
"I thought so too but YG called me just now and told me he wanted to see you at the company later."
Rosé frowned, "Only me?"
"Yeah. I don't know what it is for. We'll find out later."
"Alright. I'll shower and get ready."
She hung up first. Rosé made her bed before picking a comfy outfit. After she was done, she head into the shower. Rosé didn't bother to put on any make-up. She made herself a bowl of cereal while waiting for Jinho who texted that he was on his way. After sending a text to her members who were still sleeping, she left the dorm. "Will it be long? I'm tired. I slept late." Rosé asked the manager. "I honestly don't know. Why did you stay up late?" Jinho raised an eyebrow. "The girls and I watched a bunch of movies until two in the morning," Rosé answered while rubbing her eyes. "Oh? Really?" She stopped to look at Jinho who was shocked by what she mentioned. "Why do you look shocked?"
