After two weeks, Y/N was granted access to be discharged from the hospital. Her parents were with her. Jiae helped her daughter into her house while Junha had his daughter's bags in his hands. "Are you alright? Do you need water?" Jiae asked as she was already heading to the kitchen. "That'll be nice," Y/N answered. "I put your bags on your bed. Later, I think Nayeon will head over here so she can help you unpack everything. Alright, sweetheart?" Y/N nodded and took the glass from her mother. "Thank you." Y/N sent a smile to her parents. "We're just glad you're okay now." Jinho took a seat on the other side of Y/N.
"Will anyone be staying with you?" Jiae asked her daughter. Fresh out of the hospital with bandages all over her body that needed to be cleaned and changed often. Y/N could not do it alone. "I think Nayeon and Jihyo will temporarily stay here until I can move on my own again." Their parents nodded. "That's good to hear. Are you sure? They know what to do. I can always hire a nurse to visit every day." Junha suggested however his daughter turned it down.
"I'm sure they can handle it. I trust them." Y/N ensured. The doorbell rang which meant the owner's cousin and best friend were here. Junha got to the door while Jiae examined the bandages on her daughter's body. "It stings, that's all," Y/N whined as she could not find a comfortable position. "Three women are here for you, sweetheart," Junha announced. The mother-daughter looked around to see what he meant as it should only be two.
"Hey." Y/N let out a sigh of relief as the person she wanted to see the most was here. "Hi." Jennie waved. Y/N wanted to get up to hug Jennie but she stumbled due to the cramps on both her legs. She managed to suppress a curse word from escaping her lips as she landed back on the sofa. "Baby, be careful." Jennie walked past everyone and let Y/N lay her head on her shoulder. Deep breaths could be heard coming out from Y/N. She was in so much pain right now.
"It's okay. I'm right here." Jennie whispered with her hand caressing the older's back. "Are you okay now?" Jennie whispered after Y/N released her grip on the younger's hands. Y/N nodded and lifted her head from the younger's shoulder.
A cough made the two of them take their eyes off each other and to the others who gave encouraging or teasing smiles. "Oh, I just realised this is the first time." Y/N chuckled once she found out that Jennie and her parents were in her presence at the same time. "Appa. Eomma. This is Jennie, my..." She paused. Jennie's eyes widened out of panic. Nayeon and Jihyo glanced at one another and stifled their laughter.
"I'm Jennie." The member gave a hug to the parents. Y/N glared at her cousin and best friend for not helping out. "Nice to meet you." Jiae sent a smile. "Where's your other girlfriends?" Junha asked. "What?" Y/N cleared her throat at her father's unexpected question. "You didn't tell them?" Nayeon raised an eyebrow. "Do I need to remind you what I was going through?" Y/N shot back and Nayeon surrendered.
"Tell us what?" Jiae asked.
"Aren't you with the four of them?" Junha questioned.
"I was with the four of them. However now, I'm only with Jennie." Y/N explained with minimal words. "I forgot to tell the two of you before because well, you know?" She shrugged. "Busy taking care of a brother." Everyone's smile dropped at Y/N's words. "Sorry, eomma." Y/N apologised to her mother. "Anyway," Jiae rubbed her daughter's hands out of comfort and asked Jennie what she was doing here since it looked like Y/N had no idea she was coming.
"I've already talked with everyone. If it's okay with you, I would like to stay with you here and attend to whatever you need." Jennie hoped for a good answer. "You would do that?" Y/N's expressions softened at what she was hearing. "Yeah. I know it was supposed to be Jihyo and Nayeon eonnie but I wanted to be with you." Jennie paused. "I will change your bandages. I will give you your medications. I will help you out with whatever you need. Would you allow me to do that?" Y/N licked her bottom lips and blinked rapidly to dry out her teary eyes.
