"Where are you going?!" Jisoo called out to Jennie, who was sprinting towards the crowd. Despite the pleas from the maknae line, Jennie disregarded them and kept running. Yunjun swiftly moved to prevent Jennie from taking any actions that could further damage her reputation. The crowd willingly made way for the idol as they anticipated her destination. Meanwhile, Y/N looked around, perplexed by her girlfriend's actions and unable to comprehend her intentions. "What are you doing?!" Y/N had to raise her voice in an attempt to get Jennie's attention. Their eyes remained fixated on each other as Y/N managed to catch Jennie in her arms.
"Get me out of here," Y/N saw desperation in her lover's eyes.
"What exactly are you doing, Jen?" As the crowd gathered around them, Y/N whispered directly into her ear. The old managers, along with Yunjun, formed a circle around them. "Please, get me out of here," Jennie begged one more time. Y/N removed the younger strands of hair to examine her face. Her gaze flickered between her face and her bruised knuckles several times. "Hang on," Y/N decided to go with what Jennie wanted. She picked up Jennie and carried her in bridal style. "Hey?!" Y/N managed to push past Kwangjoo, who was taken aback. "Wait, Y/N! What are you doing?"
Y/N raced towards her parked vehicle, her heart pounding with urgency. She knew she had to move quickly, fearing that someone could be tailing them in a car. Jennie appeared agitated and Y/N wasted no time in carefully guiding her into the front passenger seat, swiftly shutting the door behind her. "Make sure no one follows us," Y/N urgently instructed the others who had caught up with them. "Are you out of your mind?" Nayeon scolded. "Jennie!" Nayeon walked up to the window and began knocking repeatedly. "Hey, don't do that!" Y/N scolded Nayeon, pulling her away from the car. "I am doing what Jennie wants!" Y/N explained, firmly. "Now, could you please do what I want by making sure no one comes after us?" Y/N gestured towards the approaching crowd, a hint of desperation in her voice.
"Please?!"
"You heard what she said," Yunjun spoke up. The men moved first, but Nayeon remained grounded. "I know where to go. Nayeon, please?" The younger cousin pleaded. "All right, all right." Nayeon finally gave in. "Go now." Nayeon helped Y/N get into her van. After turning on the engine, Y/N asked Jennie if she was still sure. She gave a nod rather than speaking. That was all that Y/N needed.
They drove away. Y/N glanced at the rearview mirror once more, gradually relaxing as the airport faded from view. "I don't think anyone is following us," Y/N whispered to herself. She handed her ID to the security guard at the bungalows, knowing she could still enter without needing a visitor pass. "Thank you," Y/N replied, waking up Jennie. The younger girl winced in pain as she tried to rub her eyes, forgetting about her injured right hand. "Where exactly are we?" Jennie asked, her voice raspy.
After parking her van, Y/N assisted Jennie in getting out and gathered the items that Jennie had thrown into the backseat. They strolled over to the unidentified house's front door together. Jennie was taken aback to see Mr. Im waiting for them when the door opened. "Hello, Mr. Im," She greeted with a small bow. Glancing at her girlfriend, Jennie noticed Y/N nodding in response to her unspoken questions.
She has taken them to her father's home.
The girl group was aware that Y/N's father lived in a large house, and Y/N was not a huge fan. "Come on in," Mr. Im warmly welcomed the girls. Y/N seated Jennie on the living room couch. "Could I see your hand?" The man questioned Jennie. "It is fine if you do not want to," Y/N whispered. "I want to be alone with you," Jennie whispered back, but Junha could hear it. Y/N apologized to her father, but he understood why Jennie wanted that. "Bring her into your bedroom. I will get the medical kit in the meantime," Y/N's father instructed. Y/N followed her father's directions.
