"Damn it." Doyun cursed when his number did not win today's lottery. He glanced over at his sister who was sleeping. The time was a little over 2 in the morning. The man was the type to only have a few hours of sleep before heading to work. He smiled when he remembered there wouldn't be any work once he got the money. Sana managed to leave by midnight. She wanted to be with Y/N who was not giving her any attention at all but this place stinks with cigarettes and empty beer bottles.

Doyun lit up another one, inhaled it and shut his eyes. "Can you please open the window?" Y/N's voice spooked him. "I thought you were asleep." Doyun scolded. "I was until your smoke woke me up." Doyun rolled his eyes due to his older sister's nags. He held the bud between his lips and opened up one window. "Are your ex-girlfriend's clothes keeping you warm?" Doyun mocked. Y/N ignored him. After getting her clothes ripped out of her body because she refused to sip water, Sana forced her clothes onto the older's body. Y/N hated it but it was the only way to stop her from freezing to death.

"Why are you doing this?" Y/N had to ask. She wanted to since the beginning but Sana was in the way and it was a family matter.

Doyun was still her family.

"I want money," Doyun answered. "By doing this to me, you get money?" Y/N questioned. "I thought hard and long about this. You're rich. You are surrounded by rich people. Why do you..." Doyun threw the bud out of the window and stormed to his sister. "Who do you get to have a good life? Why not me?" Y/N flinched as his tone got louder and he got handsy by pushing her on the side of her head. "Good life? You don't know half of the things I went through!" Y/N spat. "I don't give a damn about that. Your father is rich. Mine was good for nothing." Doyun stated. "I don't know if he knows yet that his daughter is missing. Our mother doesn't know this either. She has nothing to do about this." Y/N sighed, "She's going to be disappointed in what you're doing." Doyun laughed, "Disappointed in me?" He gave one slap to Y/N's right cheek. Y/N shrieked in pain and lay on the ground. Her sobs were the least of Doyon's problems. "She left me! She fucking left me!" The man ranted. "My father blamed me! Not a day went by without him putting his hands on me and telling me over and over again that it was my fault his girlfriend left!"

"How old were you when our mother left?" Y/N took whatever energy she had left to get up and ask.

"18. She made an excuse in her letter that I was an adult and didn't need to be taken care of anymore. A fucking letter! She didn't even say goodbye to me and my father!" Doyun was furious. "I watched my father practically kill himself. He drank so much! He smoked too much! He even moved on to hardcore drugs! I would only get screamed at when I begged him to stop." Doyun gave one kick to his older's sister stomach causing the woman's back to hit the wall hard. "I wasn't even home when he had the heart attack and died. I came home to my dead father!" He revealed.

Y/N let out a few coughs while crouching over. She winced in pain and tried to sit up for the hundredth time. "How did you find me? How did you find eomma?" Y/N asked. "I managed to save up enough money for a private investigator," Doyun said. He opened up a beer bottle first and took a sip. "Do you want one?" He offered. "I am not getting drunk with you. Not like this." Y/N declined. "Do you at least want some more water?" He grabbed the unopened bottles. Y/N nodded since she was dehydrated. Doyun poured a good amount into the older's mouth who coughed and pushed him away when it got too much.

"As I mentioned, I hired a private investigator but the amount I paid him was not enough to get me more information. So, I sold all the drugs I could find at home and gave him all of them. That was enough." He laughed. "That's when I found out I have an older half-sister who was making a name for herself." Doyun swung his arms out as if he was proud of the discovery. "Watch it!" Y/N cursed when some of the beer splattered on her. "I wanted to do all of this way earlier but he told me that you had just booked a one-way flight to Thailand. It seemed like you weren't going to be in Seoul for that period so it was useless for me to 'reach out'." He uses air quotes for those two words. "Whatever you were doing for the last few months, I knew it." He gave a thumbs up and chugged.
