Jennie pleaded with Soohee to stop hovering over her constantly. "You don't have to watch me all the time," she begged. Soohee, who had repeated herself a thousand times, reminded Jennie that it was her responsibility. "It's only the second day, Jen. Are you already tired of me?" Soohee asked teasingly, trying to lighten the mood. However, Jennie wasn't in the mood for jokes. "Can I have my phone back at least? I'm so bored," she complained. Soohee held up Jennie's phone, taunting her by asking, "Will you promise not to text your girlfriend?" Jennie responded defiantly, "I'll text her if I want to. You've already made me delete my Instagram post about her."

"Because what you did was wrong."

Jennie's face was twisted in confusion and sadness as she asked, "Really? Me being happy was wrong?" A man's voice, whose tone was calm and assuring, responded, "You did nothing wrong."

Soohee immediately scolded the man who was much taller than her after he snatched Jennie's phone from her. "Hey!" she exclaimed in protest. Soohee demanded an explanation from him, "Why did you do that?"

Teddy, the man in question, took a sip of his drink before answering Soohee's question with a hint of arrogance in his voice, "Because I can. Because I don't work for you." Soohee rolled her eyes at Teddy's response, annoyed at his lack of respect.

As Jennie looked at Teddy's drink, she expressed her interest in having one too. The manager, who had been watching the exchange silently, stood up and announced, "Let's go." She was ready to head to the mart with Jennie, who remained seated.

Jennie looked up at her and said, "You go. I'll wait here." Soohee let out a frustrated sigh and replied, "That's not going to work." Teddy, the studio owner, overheard their conversation and chimed in, "Jennie doesn't need to go with you." Soohee took a step forward and said, "This has nothing to do with you." Teddy, a towering figure, was not intimidated at all and responded sternly, "Do I need to remind you where you are? Do you want to get banned from my studio?" It was one against two, but Soohee decided to leave and said, "I'll be back." Jennie, relieved, thanked Teddy and said, "Thank you, oppa." Teddy then patted her head affectionately and comforted her by saying, "I got to protect you and the girls."

Jennie's heart raced as she scrambled to dial her girlfriend's number. Her mind was filled with worry and a sense of unease as she realized it had been two whole days since she had last heard Y/N's voice or seen her. Teddy, who was sipping on a drink through a straw, noticed her distress and muttered, "Will she pick up?" Jennie gave him a disapproving look, silently urging him to be more positive. "Of course, she will pick up," He replied firmly. However, her anxiety only grew when she had to call twice because Y/N did not answer on the first dial. Teddy looked at her with concern, his eyes widening with shock. It was clear that he could sense the tension in the room.

Teddy tried to lighten up the mood by saying, "Maybe she's busy or sleeping?" Jennie, however, was getting worried after the second failed attempt to reach her girlfriend. She mumbled, "Why isn't she picking up?" The man suggested, "Hey, it's lunchtime, right? Maybe she's at work in the cafe and is so busy with customers that she can't use her phone?" He tried to reassure her, "I mean, that's the only reason I can think of why she's not answering your call, Jen."

Jennie's fingers hovered over the power button on her phone as she lay back on the plush sofa. "Or maybe," she mused, "She's mad at me for what happened so she doesn't want to answer my calls." But Teddy shook his head, "I don't think so. We know she was picked up by Nayeon and the others at the airport, right? I just know they would have told Y/N what happened while you and she were in Hawaii."

Their conversation was cut short when the new manager walked in. Soohee stood before them, holding a drink in one hand. With the other hand, she held out her hand and said, "Give me your phone and I'll give you your drink." Jennie was careful, "The drink first." Soohee let out a sigh, "I'm not in the mood, Jennie," she begged.
