It has been officially weeks since Jennie started staying over at Y/N. She would only sleep at the dorm when there were schedules back to back and at her mother's place when she wanted to. If not, she's in Y/N's bed.
"Good morning." Y/N greeted the younger girl who was waking up. She wiped her face dry since she had done her morning routine and climbed back into bed to greet Jennie closer. "Good morning, beautiful." Y/N caressed the younger's exposed stomach and placed a kiss on her forehead. Jennie did her famous gummy smile and giggled out of shyness. She hid her face in Y/N's chest and pulled the older even closer. By now, Y/N was better so Jennie didn't need to think twice anymore about placing her hands on Y/N.
"Do you have anything planned for today?" Y/N asked after Jennie revealed her face again. "I don't think so. The managers told me and the girls that we had a free day today. I'm not sure if the girls have their plans but I don't." Jennie did a morning stretch after that. "I know you have your doctor's appointment this afternoon. I wish I could be there with you." She pouted. "How romantic." The older teased. "I'll be with Nayeon so I'll be okay. You can have your me time here if you want." Y/N suggested.
"Here? Alone? In your house?" Jennie blushed. "You trust me to be alone in your house?" Y/N sighed and playfully rolled her eyes, "Jen, you have practically spent your time here over the last few weeks. What did you think?" Jennie admits defeat by sulking and bringing the covers over her face. "I want to have my me time with you." Y/N shook her head and said that. "That's not how me time works, baby."
"It's the way I want it to work." Jennie pouted.
By noon, Nayeon had picked Y/N up and Jennie was left alone. She took this time to clean the house and cooked dinner with what they had before relaxing on the sofa with a movie playing on the TV. It was close to dinner time when Y/N came back. "I got a surprise for you." Jennie heard. "Can you close your eyes?" Jennie did what Y/N asked her to. She told the older that her eyes were shut before waiting for the surprise. Y/N placed the bags on the dining table and walked over to Jennie. "Gosh, I miss you," Y/N whispered. She placed a kiss on both of the younger's cheeks and told her to open her eyes.
"I got you flowers." Y/N giggled.
Jennie gasped and took them. "I guess this is my way of saying thank you for being by my side. I know I can be difficult at times. Thank you for not giving up on me, baby." Y/N spoke, shyly. Jennie wrapped her arms around the older's neck and pulled her in for a tight hug. She knew Y/N was getting better since she did not wince in pain at any physical contact anymore. "I promise you, didn't I? I'm never leaving you. You're stuck with me." Jennie mumbled. "I love y- I love it." Y/N slipped her words but Jennie didn't catch it as she was in a trance.
Y/N then told Jennie how the appointment went.
Everything was going well.
Y/N was recovering. Mentally. Physically.
The Next Day.
"Oppa, do you know how now it seems like it's all of us against the company?" Jennie asked Kwangjoo who was driving. "I know. What's wrong? Do you know something?" He asked with a glace to the young girl. "I know nothing." Jennie shrugged. Day by day, everyone waits for the call from the CEO but it never comes.
It will. They know it will.
Just not right now.
"I was wondering if I could have a vacation?" Jennie asked. "Vacation? With your girlfriend?" He teased and earned a slap from Jennie. "She's not my girlfriend yet." He laughed and teased some more. "We'll find a way to make it work. Have you asked Y/N?" Jennie shook her head. "I don't know if she wants to. She could finally move without struggle now. Too soon?" Kwangjoo shrugged, "You'll never know if you never asked." He mentioned talking to Y/N first before getting back to the managers.
