𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙸𝚝𝚘𝚜𝚑𝚒 𝚂𝚒𝚋𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 𝚂𝚎𝚚𝚞𝚎𝚕 <𝟹

Ch. 2

2 years later

Sae was left at home with his two siblings as per the instructions of his mother.

....
It was hell.
He heard them cry every two seconds and rushed to try and shut them up not knowing if they wanted food or bathroom or whatever.

He sat a bit trying to rest. They had finally calmed down and were playing around with some toys.

They were doing that one puzzle where there were different shapes and they had to insert the shapes into their rightful place in the box.

Rei was sucking on her thumb as she observed her twin solve the puzzle. She didn't understand why she had the urge to do what she did next.

She picked up the box and flipped it all over ruining rin's progress.

Rin took a moment to process what happened. He looked completely defeated. Tears started filling his eyes.

Sae:"No. No. No. Not again. Please."
His eardrums were abt to explode as rin's scream pierced through him.
He placed his hands tightly on his ears trying to stop the noise from physically killing him.

Little rin then picked up one of the pieces and hits rei with it.
Same thing. Rei took a moment to process what's going on. Then her eyes were getting teary too.
Sae knew in that moment that he was screwed.

He had to press his hands against his ears even harder as rei's scream was much louder than rin's. Both of their overlapping screams were abt to make him lose it.

That was not the end of rei's revenge. She then aggressively hit her brother rin and the next thing sae knew was their screams got even worse.

It was too much for 4 year old sae to handle so he joined them in crying.
Sae:"Why won't u guys just stop screaming?!?!!" he hit his little fist on the floor.

He went to them both and they both stopped crying as soon as they saw sae cry.

They crawled to him with an innocent look in their eyes like they did not just destroy his eardrums and pretend nothing had happened.

They looked sadly at him.
Rei:"Thae..."
Rin:"nii-than.."
They both clinged onto his shirt while calling his name with their broken vocabulary and pronunciation.

He wiped his tears while looking at them. Were all kids secretly devils?
Sae:"Rei don't do that and rin don't hit ur sister. And rei don't hit ur brother."

Or that's what his mom told him to say as he had little to no idea why he wanted to hit them both too. But he held back for the sake of his mom's sanity.

He felt a hand punch onto his cheek lightly which made him flinch.
He looked down. It was rei.
Sae:"What?"
Rei:"Thae play with me!!"
Rin clinged onto his sister pulling her back wanting to join in on his brother and sis.

That made both of them fall backwards.
Sae:"No-"
And so the their screams reached the entire neighborhood.

Finally sae managed to calm them down and have them sleep.
Tiredness overtook him. He's literally a 4 year old ofc he'd joined them in sleeping.

They all slept together.
Rin and rei from either sides were lying onto sae.
Sae held their tiny hands tightly. Their smol bodies finally resting up after playing around the house for hours. The three of them were snoring lightly...

Sae rubbed his eyes lightly with one hand. The other still with one of the other twins.
He looked around. Only rin was beside him. Where did his sis go?
He got up and woke up rin since he wasn't letting go of his hand so he might as well drag him too.
