Ch. 18

Rei waved a bye bye at rin who went ahead and insisted on practicing. She wanted to join in but he told her he wants to train by himself. She instantly turned her head around not wanting to show her sad face and left him be.

Rei: is it normal for twins to go their separate ways?..

She sighed and decided to pass by hiori's school. It's been a while since they went out. Maybe she'll just talk to him a bit then leave. It feels lonely without rin around...

She was walking. Step by step. Heading towards the football field to observe the match going on.

"HEY WATCH OUT!!"
A ball was heading towards rei. It took her by surprise a bit but no more than that. Some boys on the field were having a love at first sight. They even thought if they save her from the ball she'd be indebted to them and thank them. Little did they know she was a player herself. Hiori saw as some boys were gonna go and try save her.

Hiori: Yeah no I wouldn't do that if I were u...

He literally feels safer standing away.

Rei jumped up a bit securing the ball then she dribbled it from one foot to the the other then kicked it directly at the line of boys in front of her who got knocked out like dominoes.

Rei:"Watch where ur kicking the ball idiots."

At the back was a black haired boy who was impressed by what she did. He turned around to see his cyan haired friend looking at her too. Which is quite unusual.

Karasu:"What is this love at first sight?"
Hiori looked at him with a blank expression.
Hiori:"That's my friend I told u abt."
Karasu:"Really? Didn't u say they're twins or smthn?"
Hiori:"Ig she's not here with her other twin today. She looks mad too maybe they fought."
Karasu:"I'm surprised u have friends other than me."
Hiori:"I have a life outside of u karasu-kun."
Karasu:"Hah. As harsh as ever."

With that they continued playing the match. Rei actually might have felt a bit excited seeing a match. It's refreshing. It's also nice observing the way hiori plays it just seemed very elegant in her mind...

Rei:"GOOOO HIORIIIIIIIIIII GOOOO!!!"
Hiori had perfectly passed to karasu in which karasu couldn't find a way to score and smirked realizing hiori was forcing him to pass it back and with that. Hiori scored a goal.

(ik hiori isn't exactly most egoistic but anyway)

Some people in the crowd were screaming as the match settled with hiori's school winning. Rei actually felt happy for her friend to have won.

However... After the match his teammates confronted him.

"U KNOW THAT PRETTY GIRL???"
Hiori had another blank expression on his face. Then he sighed. Trying to ignore them as he tried to wash up a bit so that he meets with rei.

He gestured at rei that he'll take a bit long then come back. Karasu noticed that and decided to see who's this girl who managed to knock out a bunch of guys like they were just domino pieces...

Rei was at the vending machine. Spending her coins on her favorite snack. If there's one thing she loved abt coming to hiori's school is the food. Ofc visiting hiori too but that's besides the point.

As her eyes sparkled at getting her fav snack in her hands smthn snatched it away from her.

She instantly sulked and let out a nooooooooo.

Then she turned around to see who had the audacity to snatch it from her hand.

She turned to see a black haired boy.
Rei:"DUDE GIVE ME BACK MY FOOD!!!!"
She tried reaching out to it but he moved it away.
