Ch. 43

The next day had come.
The last final day before the fated day of the u20 game.

All the u20 girls were preparing to leave. The boys were there to thank them before they leave for the games they've had together and the things they were able to learn from them.

Some of them became friends and exchanged numbers others felt indifferent and just wanted to go back to sleep.

Rei was saying goodbye to her new friends like nagi and bachira. She got along with them too much.

Bachira:"Rei-chan!!! Ur coming to tomorrow's game right??"
Rei:"Yep. "
Bachira:"YAY!! So it won't exactly be our final goodbye right? I hope we can stay in contact if u don't mind >:3"
Rei:"Yes it's fine with me. I wish u all the best tomorrow."
Bachira:"Thank you Rei-chan ."

Bachira and rei were really smiling widely at each other. They were two big sunshines really.

Nagi also talked to rei before she leaves. Although now he's a bit conscious because he knows that rin is lurking somewhere watching them.

Nagi:"Rei? When do u usually play genshin?"
Rei:"At the very morning or at evening after practice. Yk u can just join whenever u see me online right?"
Nagi:"Yeah but im just making sure I'd open the game eventually at the same time as u. I'll also introduce u to some other games that u might not have tried. "
Rei:"That would be really cool. But I'm not a clueless idiot about games. Rin and I have been playing lots of video games since we were kids so be sure I'll know some of them."

She said confidently and nagi nodded. He didn't mean to challenge her he was just happy to find a gamer friend. On that note he might also ask rin to play since rin seems to be the one who introduced rei to playing video games.

But rin still looked unapproachable... Especially when rin was glaring at them. Nagi just felt the glare into his back.

Nagi: overprotective...chill dude no one's taking ur sister away... I hope he stops glaring it feels scary...

Rei then told most of them goodbye too. Then she was finally met with her friend group. Apparently kyoko got dragged into this too.

Rei:"U guys better win tomorrow. If u lose ur a bunch of losers and I'll never forgive u."
Karasu:"What's with the zero confidence in our skills??"
Rin:"Tch. I'm not letting this lukewarm team lose against itoshi sae."

Rei laughed seeing their reactions.

Rei:"Okay okay u guys can do it. Really I wish we could've spent more time together. This was such a fun training camp seriously. "
Karasu:"Yeah but you..."
Hiori completed his thought for him.
Hiori:"U were the biggest surprise."
Rei:"Hah right? None of u guys thought I could come right under blue lock's nose now did u? <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠>"

Her confidence pose made rin face palm.

Hiori:"We all thought u sneaked in. Or somehow barged into the place."
Karasu:"Seriously I wouldn't put it past u to do that. Especially going right to ego like a moron. "
Rin:"So that u end up getting kicked out of the place in the end for doing so."
Kyoko:"She probably would've if this training camp wasn't put to action."
Rei:"Kyoko u too?!"

Rei looked at them with such a confused and betrayed look. Seriously her mouth was open.

Rei:"Wth do u guys think I'm that crazy?? What's with these crazy scenarios u imagined me do?? Do I look this dumb to u??"
Rin and kyoko:"Be honest u thought of doing it at some point didn't u?"

Rin and kyoko gave each other the side eye. And there was some kind of electricity between them. Like rin didn't like that kyoko also knows rei well like him. Well of course he knows better but still. It bothered him that they had the same thought.
