Ch. 27

Rei woke up feeling tired. Her dreams felt foggy but she remembers the feeling of sadness there.

Rei: sigh... It's today. I should wish him the best right..? What kind of a sister am I?

Meanwhile rin was packing the stuff he'd take. Today was still a schoolday. So he had to get his school bag too.

But if he's going to blue lock he's not gonna be here for a very long time no?

He turned around left and right. Made sure no one was near his room. Then opened his closet and got the twins shirt in his bag.

Is he gonna wear that tho?
Absolutely not.
He'd rather die than wear it.

He's getting it with him for sake of... Moral support. To not forget his twin sister's stupidity.

Rin:"Idiot wake up we're gonna be late."
Rei:"I'm awake I'm awake!!!"

Rei quickly packed her things and went downstairs. Mamatoshi and rin hugged each other a bye bye cuz it's gonna be their last meeting as he's going to blue lock directly after school.

Mom:"Take care kids!!"
Rei:"Bye bye!!"

The twins waved at her and left the house to go to school.

It was a normal day at school. People fawning over the twins and their looks.

Rei couldn't stop thinking abt rin leaving. Not only that but hiori and karasu were also leaving? Aren't too many ppl leaving her??

Rei made sure by the end of the school day to buy some ice cream. As rin met up with her, she threw him the ice cream that he caught easily. Even though the weather was cold, they both still ate their ice cream.

Rei: the day passed too fast... It's already time?

Rei still didn't want this. But it's the best for rin. So she accepted it in the end.

Rin could feel rei was slowly walking making her fall back. He remembered when she did that when sae left and grabbed her hand and made her catch up to his pace.

Rin:"Stop falling behind."
Rei:"Huh sure..."
It was the first she's seen rin hold her hand willingly without her having to force him into it cuz she wanted to.

She smiled. Right now they're together. Even these last minutes r important she should be making good use of what time she has left with him.

They were finally at the gate. Rin let go of her hand.

Rin:"Okay it's-"
Rei:"RIN REMEMBER HOW U GOT ME MY FAVORITE SNACK THE OTHER DAY-"
And here he thought she was sad but her loud voice and happy tone that pierced his ears made him think it was otherwise.

Rin:"So what?"
Rei:"So what my foot. The candy tasted perfect. Chef's kiss. And u got me food. That itself is like the world to me."
Rin:"It was just some food why do u sound so dramatic?"
Rei:"Cuz it made me happy."
Rin:"well how else was I supposed to calm u down before u start crying like a kid again?"

Rei was very touched by what he said at first but then she pinched him for the last words and click of his tongue at the end it was unnecessary.

Rin:"I'll get going now."
Rei:"Okay bye bye."
Rin:"..."
Rei:"..."

They stared at each other for like 30 seconds till rin broke the silence.

Rin:"That's it?"
Rei:"What? U said you'll go. I told u bye. Yet ur still here."
Rin stared at her in confusion.
