Ch. 39

Rei entered the room and all the guys were in shock. Aside from anri. Did they just see another girl??

Kyoko sighed and entered from behind. Rei was too impatient. They were supposed to make their grand entrance after ego announces who's coming in.

That aside the most shocked person was Rin. What's rei doing here??? And no less wearing the u20 national team uniform??? What is going on?? Was he dreaming? Is he seeing things?

Rei noticed their faces and started laughing. Some of them got creeped out while others just kept on looking back and forth between her and Rin. They look too similar.

Bachira:"Huh?! Female rin-chan?!"
Isagi: she really looks like him but she's definitely not rin.

Meanwhile kyoko pinched rei to stop laughing like a creep for enjoying their reactions and look proper. And so rei coughed with an ahem and stopped and just smirked at all of them with a wave.

Rei:"Yaho!!"
Rin:"What the hell..."

Well let's rewind a bit shall we? (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

Rei and kyoko were in the nurse's office she was checking on rei for any injuries but luckily nothing happened to rei. Just some scratches.

And so they left. And checked the other room for their other striker was also checked on nothing happened to her either.

The other striker was a bit nervous rei would be angry at her for pushing her. But surprisingly rei just checked on her smiled then left. That's it???? She was surprised she really thought rei would make fun of her or mock her or something. She was ready to fight back but rei really just saw nothing bad happened and left. Maybe she really was a better suited captain than her...

Rei got over it. Right she was annoyed she got pushed and they both fell at the match. But afterwards she realized that other girl didn't trip her on purpose or anything so she just did what captain would and checked that the other girl was also fine and left.

The next day after the whole team got days off for a job well done at the match rei was called to the office.

Kyoko gave her a bombastic side eye like 🤨and Rei raised her hands innocently.

Rei:"I didn't do anything!!!!"
Kyoko:"Is that so?"
Rei:"I DIDNT!!!"

Kyoko shrugged.
Kyoko:"Just go already."

Rei nodded and covered her mouth as she yawned as she left to the office. Does she really have to be called since the morning? Isn't it their day off?

She went to the office and she saw anri on the way. Sigh. She wants to ask her so badly abt seeing rin again. But she knows she'll get scolded if she's late so she went to the office.

But she saw anri enter after her. Huh?

The coach asked her to sit down and she did.

This is getting nerve wrecking. So anri and the coach assistant and the coach r all here in this room. And rei was called alone. And had to sit down cuz the conversation will be long.

Rei:"Yes? Am I in trouble again? Pretty sure I didn't do anything right? coach?"

The coach laughed then had a smug look.
Coach:"Do u always associate bad things when u meet me?"

Rei laughed nervously and shaked her head.

Rei:"No no no no. I was just worried a bit nothing else. "
Coach:"Well don't be nervous this isn't exactly a bad thing. It's an interesting opportunity that will be provided for u and the team."
Rei:"Yes what opportunity??"
