Ch. 6

Mom:"Saeeee rinnnn reiiii we're going grocery shopping get ready!!"
She said calling out to them from the kitchen. Rin and rei got excited. They loved going to the mall to buy from the hypermarket inside. It was so big and had so many stuff they wanted. Sae on the other hand was annoyed.

Sae:"I don't wanna go mama."
He said bluntly while holding onto his football.
Mom:"No u don't young man. Ur coming whether u like it or not."
She said putting her hands on her hips like the sassy mom she was.
Sae moved his head sideways cuz he's stubborn.
Sae:"I'd rather play football."
Mom:"You can play when we come back."
Sae:"No-OWOWWWWW."
She was pulling his ear then she let go.
Mom:"Ur coming. End of discussion."
He still refused and hugged the ball tightly not letting go of it. Next thing he knew his mom snatched the ball and put it away from him. Then she had to drag her son away from the football as he reached out to it trying to resist his mother's hold while looking like he's gonna cry cuz he just lost his football.

Rei:"Sae-nii are u mad?"
Sae:"No ."
He was definitely mad.

They were sitting in the car finally after the argument between rin and rei settled. They've been deciding who gets the window seat and since sae was obviously the eldest he gets one side and the rest, middle and other window seat, was up to the twins to decide who would sit where. Their mother pinched the bridge of her nose as she drove the car listening to rei and rin bickering at each other back and forth on who should be sitting on the window seat.
Rei:"I'M OLDER THAN U RIN."
Rin:"U WERE ONLY BORN A DAY BEFORE ME???"
Rei:"Exactly. The older one gets the seat 😌"
Rin:"Who said those were the rules??"
Rei:"Don't u see Sae-nii sitting there?"
Sae:"Don't involve me in ur bickering leave me alone."
They both ignored him <3
Rin:"But that's cuz he's actually older than us while we are twins."
Rei:"The fact I'm older than u still holds true."
Rin:"Then let's rock paper scissors this!"
Rei:"BET"
Rin mightve always been lucky. But not this time. He never knew his sister had such talent in this game that could decide such a crucial decision for the rest of their lives.

Rei and rin:"ROCK PAPER SCISSORS SHOO-"
Rin put scissors. She put rock.
...

He pouted as he lost and rei celebrated her win. With that the yelling finally had died down and their mom felt like her headache finally left.
They finally settled.
Rin in the middle seat
Rei to his left and sae was to his right.
He turned around looking at his sister than at his brother then thought a bit. Maybe sitting in the middle wasn't bad. He gets to be with them both after all.
The only thing he hated was the bitter taste of losing <3

Mom:"We're hereeee. Get up!!"
She said as she moved rei back and forth. She woke up then rin woke up then sae woke up from the noise.
Sae looked more done with life when he woke up he wished he had stayed asleep.

His mom smiled at him.
Mom:"Sae u haven't noticed yet?"
Sae:"What?"
Mom:"The football is at the car trunk. After we finish shopping we'll go to the park."
His eyes widened and it felt like his mom saw some small flowers surround him. His mood completely changed and he cheered up.

She sighed in relief. At least she doesn't have to deal with his grumpiness anymore.

As for rin and rei they waited patiently for their mom and older brother to come.
Sae looked at the back trunk and the football was actually there. He was very happy at that moment. His mom ruffled his hair.
He looked up to her.
Sae:"Thank you... Mama..."
She smiled at him. Then turned her head while clenching her chest.
Mom: ughh my son is so cute...
Sae really thought that she took the ball away from him and kept it at home. But instead she had brought it with her.
What a great mother she was <3

With that the four of them journeyed into the entrance.
Their mom laughed as she saw rin and rei hoping on the floor trying not to touch the line the tiles make. Sae might have not obviously shown it, but he was also trying not to step on the line the tiles made.
Mom: my children are very cute <3
