We stood hunkered on the rooftop across from the building where the child was being held. Mando stood at the edge, gazing through a pair of binoculars.

It was a bad idea. The one we were currently trying to execute. I had been so riled by the thought that this kid would suffer like I had that I didn't have time to think through the consequences of what we were about to do. Break into an Imperial facility and take the cargo we just gave them back. Easy enough.

"Mayen? (Anything?)," I asked, hunkered beside him.

He sighed, turning to me. "It looks dead inside, but there's the thing he was in."

The bounty hunter pointed to a nearby dumpster and I turned to look at it, spotting the small, spherical thing we had found him in.

"Are we going in?"

He nodded shortly. "Yeah, we're going in."

The hallways were quiet as we snuck right through the front door. "They must be packing up to leave," I whispered. "There's no troopers guarding the entrance."

Mando nodded shortly as we turned a corner. His hand came across my chest, pushing the two of us back against the wall. "Two troopers. Dead ahead."

I nodded slowly, quietly taking the blaster from its holster on my waist. "Are we going in loud or silent?"

Din hesitated for a moment. "I think stealth is best."

Nodding, I placed my gun back, leaning down to take a small dagger from my boot. "Gar hiibir solus, ni hiibir te ashi? (You take one, I take the other?)" I offered.

"It sounds like a good plan."

Moving away from him, I placed myself on my hunkers. Tilting my head around the corner I spotted the two storm troopers Mando had warned me about. They were facing away from us.

I turned to look up at my partner. "You should know by now Mando, we never have a plan."

"It's always a good time to start."

I shook my head. "That's boring, and I hate boring."

Standing to a hunched position, I moved silently against the ground. I had almost reached the first trooper when I heard the Mandalorian's footsteps behind me. Loudly.

"Kriff," I cursed as the men were alerted to our presence.

"Hey!" one of them called. "What are you two doing –"

I didn't give him time to answer, pushing the blaster he was raising away and elbowing him in the neck between his helmet. He struggled for breath for a moment but I didn't give him time to relaxed, moving around to his back and wrapping my arm around the front of his neck, applying pressure.

"Where's the kid?" I asked.

His hands wrapped around mine, pulling at them. I didn't let up. "The kid. Where is he?"

"What... kid?"

"The bounty!"

"I..."

With a heavy sigh, I took the blaster from my waist and pressed it against his back, shooting past the protective armour he worse.

The trooper fell to the ground and I turned to Mando, finding that he was standing over the other one, his own blaster in hand.

"So much for the stealth approach," I dismissed, stepping over the storm trooper and checking my weapon.
