“Ugh” I turn covering my eyes from the light shining through, I get up and look around, my bags from the car are in the room and there is a small box near the door. I rub my eyes and get up I carefully open the box and see a burner phone with a small note. “I hope pops doesn't open this. If you're reading this it means he didn't so yay! This is for you it's how I stayed in touch with the guys it wipes itself every 24 hours and has a built-in signal blocker. You can only send and receive messages you authorize” I read with a smile
“That sneaky boy” I smile and look at the bottom of the box “Just in case you forgot our numbers” I read turning it over and both of their numbers are on it. I quickly dial DJ's number and go into the closet, “Hello” he answers yawning, “DJ?” I ask “Adenna,” he asks alert “W…What's wrong….Are you okay..are you hurt, I'm on my way” he says franticly” DJ. David Jay” I say and it goes quiet
“I'm okay Trent snuck me in a burner” I chuckle “Oh. Girl, you scared me” he laughs, “Sorry I just wanted to tell you some great news” I smile “Oh okay what's up,” he asks calming down “My doctor called yesterday. I'm having twins” I smile “What. Really now way” he chuckles “Yeah he told me before I left” I laugh “That's amazing Adenna. Wow,” he says “Yeah.” My smile fades
“What's wrong” he asks “I just wish Dante was here. Can I really do this on my own” I whisper feeling hopeless “No. You can't. But you don't have to do it alone because we're here all of us” he says and I start crying “Thank you, DJ, hey I'm going to go eat something can you tell everyone for me” I ask “Yeah I got you, make sure you eat you have three people to feed now” he chuckles
“I will thank you DJ” I smile and hang up. I open the closet door and head downstairs following the smell of food and music, “Mmm pancakes” I whisper, I walk into the kitchen and see Miss Tipson dancing around the kitchen cooking, she used to be a dancer back in Mexico, Mr. Tipson walks in from the back door “Ay go baby” he smiles twirling her, they both start dancing with each other smiling and laughing, the song ends and Mr.Tipson kisses her.
“Oh. Look who's awake” Mrs.Tipson giggles, “Ay she's so big now” she comes over to me with open arms “What do you expect honey last we saw her she was still in middle school” Mr.Tipson smiles. I hug Mrs. Tipson and she lets go of me “Well are you hungry honey” she asks “Mhm I smelled pancakes” I smile “Ah yes Trent told me you liked pancakes” she says making a plate
“Well here you are darling, if you get nauseous I put some medicine there for you” she says pointing at the table, *Ring Ring Ring* I look around confused “Babe could you get the phone” Mrs. Tipson asks I watch Mr.Tipson go into the living room, “I thought you guys didn't have phones here” I ask Mrs. Tipson holding my plate, “Oh we don't it's a landline” Mrs.Tipson chuckles “What really that's amazing” I hear Mr.Tipson exclaim
“Come on honey let's go sit down” Mrs. Tipson says grabbing hers and Mr. Tipson's plate. She sets them down on the table, and Mr. Tipson comes in with a smile, “Who was on the phone babe” Mrs. Tipson asks, “It was Trent he says he's coming by in a couple of days. Oh and told me about some good news about a certain someone” he smiles looking at me “Wow news gets around fast” I chuckle “What news” Mrs. Tipson asks “I'm having twins” I smile, and she claps her hands “Oh my gosh that is amazing wow” she smiles “Oh I am so happy” she giggles and I nod smile.
Five months later
“Ooh” I groan trying to sit up in bed, I finally get up and sit there for a second, I can't believe that it's been five months since I started living here, Mr. And Mrs. Tipson have been the absolute best, they even gave me a nursery right next to my room and it is absolutely beautiful there are two white cribs side by side, and a small couch in the side a soft grey and white rug and a dresser that has a changing station on top of it.
The room is all setup and it's just perfect, everything about it. Trent has been taking me to my doctor's appointments since Mr. And Mrs. Tipson don't get out of the house. He visits when he can but I haven't seen DJ since I left, he's been busy running the gang, and after he told them that Dante was their leader, he took over for him. I waddle downstairs and go into the kitchen “Hey honey did you have a good nap” Mrs. Tipson asks “Mhm I am feeling much better” I smile as she hands me a bowl of pineapples
“That's good, I am so glad” she smiles “I will be in the back with Shawn tending to the horses” she says and I nod sitting at the table. I eat my pineapples “Ohh” I groan feeling the babies kick, “Oohh” I groan again getting a sharp pain, the pain goes away and I go back to eating my pineapples. “Man you two really send me on a trip” I chuckle rubbing my belly “Ah” I yelp feeling the pain again, “Okay calm down in there” I chuckle, I feel my phone vibrate.
I look around and take it out, “Hello,” I ask “Hey Denna how are you feeling,” DJ asks “Oh well I just woke up from a nap and the twins won't stop kicking me” I chuckle “Ohh” I groan, “aw sorry to hear that,” he says “It's okay plus Trent should be coming over today so I'll have him here to help me” I chuckle, “Yeah well….that's good,” he says “ah…What was that” I ask “What was what” he asks
“That…oh…long pause” I ask “I was just grabbing something nosey” he chuckles “Ahh” I groan “Denna you okay” he asks “Ugh….yeah I'm okay” I groan “are you sure you don't sound very okay” he says worried, “AH” I scream, “Adenna” he says franticly, I look down feeling something wet on me. “Uh oh. Oh my God, my water…my water just broke” I say freaking out “AHH GOD” I scream. “ADENNA IM ON THE WAY” DJ yells.
