Zak's POV:

I sat on the floor of the dungeon. It was cold and dark. My arms and legs were chained to the floor. The key to unlock the chains was up by the dungeon door. Blood stained the floor. The place looked grisly.

From what I had learned, the two men that were tormenting me were named Quackity and Jchslatt. And that the boy that was trying to save me was named Darryl. I kept remembering what had happened a few hours ago . . .

They men threw me onto the floor and chained me down. My head hurt. Everything hurt.

I looked up to see one of the men with a pocket knife and the other held a tray. My eyes widened and welled with tears. One of them rolled my pants up to my knee. A large diamond that was embedded in my skin shined throughout the room. The guy with the knife brought it close to the diamond. He then stabbed it into my skin.

I cried out of pain as he cut down and around the diamond. Once he had cut around the area of the diamond, he put the knife down. My leg and the diamond were stained with blood.

He then dug his hand into my leg, ripping the diamond out and putting it on the tray the other held. I yelped again. The pain was excruciating. I looked down at my leg which was covered in blood and had a hole in it. You could see part of my bone.

They repeated the process to a few more diamonds and eventually, I didn't feel pain anymore. Then, . . .  The sounds of footsteps walking towards the dungeon interrupted my thoughts. Not again . . . Instead of the men that opened the door, it was Darryl. I held a weak smile.

Darryl's POV:

I remembered I had a lockpick stored in my room and that's what I used to get out. Once I got out, I rushed towards the dungeon.

'What if he's already dead?'

That thought coursed my mind many times as I sprinted towards the dungeon. I opened the door and saw a key on the wall. I grabbed the key, figuring I'd need it.

I headed down the creaky steps to see the prince. He had chunks of diamonds removed from his body.

Blood stained his clothes and his skin. My eyes widened in disbelief. How could they do this to someone? I saw him look up at me. He held a weak smile and his eyes were faded. I knew if I didn't save him now, he would die.

I ran up to the boy, taking the key and unlocking the chains, freeing him. I didn't have much time. I quickly picked him up in bridal style before heading back up the steps. As I ran down the halls, I managed to snag a golden apple. I handed it to the boy as I knew that golden apples help reduce pain in wounds and help the person rehabilitate. He slowly took bites of the apple as I snuck around the palace.

Eventually I found the exit.

I slowly creaked open the doors, slipping outside. I was accompanied by the darkness of the night. I planned to take him to a tree house I made. It was deep in the warped forest so it is hard to find but I remember the coordinates.

I ran through the forest so fast my feet barely grazed against the grass. Eventually, I made it to the tree house. I stopped at the ladder of the tree house, panting.

Once I regained my energy, I climbed the ladder with one hand, the other on the boy's back. His arms clung around my neck. When I got to the top of the tree house, I set him down on a blanket that laid on the floor of the tree house.

"I'll be back later, stay here," I whispered to him. I left the tree house. I couldn't help but feel bad for leaving him but I didn't want to get caught.

I'd come to get him tomorrow.
