Darryl's POV:
Nikki had an awesome idea!
I should have checked the cameras before!
"I'm gonna go check the cameras, Zak," I said.
"Okay," Zak replied.
With that, I left the room, on my way to the camera room.
Little did I know, I was about to discover more than I had intended . . .
I headed towards the camera room; the room that held all the information I needed. I opened the wooden door, the hinges creaking. Inside the room was a desk that had a computer on it, along with shelves above it, holding folders full of the Blaze kingdom's history. From the day the Blaze kingdom was created, to today. I knew the vote was inside one of the folders.
I pulled out the black swivel chair from under the desk and sat down on it, turning the computer on with the click of a button.
The computer's screen then showed a panel.
The panel read off every room in the castle. From room 1 to room 514.
The panel was very organized.
It read: '1-100', '101-200', '201-300', '301-400', '401-514'.
If you clicked on one of those 5 slots, for example, '301-400', you'd be brought to rooms 300 through 400.
Rooms 1-100 were the dungeon, room 101-200 was just the throne room and non-important rooms, rooms 201-300 were servant headquarters, guest rooms, and the kitchen. Rooms 301-400 were royal guest rooms and higher class servant headquarters, and lastly, rooms 401-514 were the master, royal guest rooms, and of course, my room.
Of course, throughout each floor were bathrooms. Room's 201 and up started to include closets too.
The reason there is servant headquarters and higher class servant headquarters was because servant headquarters has the lower class and less experienced servants, while the higher class servant headquarters were more experienced, and basically, immediate servants that knew what to do in most situations.
There's a pattern between the floors.
The higher the floor, the higher the class in rooms. I clicked on '401-514' since I knew the master room was room 511. The master was where the rulers of the kingdom would sleep. I was looking for proof of Jschlatt lying first. Then, I'd check out the soup situation . . . A new panel then showed up. It read: 'Royal guest rooms', 'Monarch', and 'Master'.
Monarch was just another term for a royal like prince or princess. I clicked on 'Master', the computer showing yet another panel.
This time, the panel read out the timeline panels. It read: '1978-2000's', and '2000's'. My parents were murdered in 2007 in their early 40's, so I clicked on '2000's'. There, I got to pick a specific year, so I typed in: '2007'.
I then put in the date for their murder: November 21st.
The act had begun at 1:34 in the morning, so I put that in for the time. The camera footage had then been displayed on the screen. I pressed play, watching through the footage. There, I saw my mother and father sleeping peacefully.
I also saw their cups. They each had a special cup that they'd drink from on their nightstand.
I saw the window start to slide open, the crimson curtains fluttering in the air as the cold air from the outside filled the room. I saw two hands on the window seal, pulling them self up, revealing Jschlatt. Jschlatt crawled inside the room before standing up and going back to the window, pulling up another person.
