Zaks POV:

The dragon snarled, its eyes piercing through my soul. The beast flared its wings out, bringing them back to its sides. It began to walk towards us. Every step it took rumbled the earth. People had stopped screaming by now and were huddled up in corners. They had tried to get as far away as they possibly could from the gigantic creature.

I heard Jschlatt let out a chuckle. When the dragon got to the window, it crouched down to look through. All I could see now was its black scales, curled horns, and emerald green eyes. It growled, lifting its head up and abruptly shoving its sharp, thick horns through the window. The glass between us and the dragon then shattered, flying in all directions and ending up on the marble floors.

I screamed as I felt a small piece of glass that flew by cut through a few layers of skin on my cheek. That wasn't the only piece of glass that pierced through my skin, though . . . Jschlatt had basically used me as a shield from the glass. Small pieces of glass were stuck in my flesh, some on my hips, legs, back, or arms. I felt a large piece of glass jammed into my waist.

Blood poured from the wound, staining my clothes. I winced as I felt the dragons breath on my neck. It had stuck its large head through the window; well most of its head. Its horns were too big to fit. It sniffed the blood that ran down my leg and Jschlatt a little bit. It nudged Jschlatts arm with its head, snarling at me.

Darryls POV:

"Zak!" I cried out. I was running so fast down the stairs, I almost tripped. When I got down onto the floor, I saw my worst nightmare. Jschlatt held Zak in place, his hand on his chin as the head of a dragon stuck through the window. The beast brought its head out of the window, its glowing emerald eyes lighting up the area.

I heard it roar loudly. People began to scream again as it shot green fire out of its mouth. It swung its tail harshly at the other windows, shattering them. It spread its fire everywhere, trying to set as many things as it possibly could on fire. It roared again, knocking down one of the castle towers down with a swinging blow. More screams flooded through the air as the tower came crashing down, dust flying up into the air.

It began to destroy more structures, setting homes and shops on fire, knocking down more towers with its large scaled paws or long, thick tail. I stopped watching the chaos go down, turning my attention towards Zak. I began to run towards him. Jschlatt heard my feet pounding on the floor underneath me as I ran towards them, quickly shoving Zak out of the window as I pushed him to the ground.

"No!" I yelled. Zak had fallen into the tall grass, fire surrounding him. Jschlatt chuckled, sitting up. I looked back at him for a moment. He had an evil grin as he sat there on the floor, watching. I looked back at Zak to see him face to face with the dragon.
