Darryls POV:

The aftermath of the recent situation was kind of bloody . . . We had two dead bodies and Zaks cut up arm to clean up. Guards had picked up the dead bodies and transported them out of the palace to be buried. Maids had had to disinfect and clean up the bloody scene too. Glad I wasn't one . . . I never really did like seeing a bunch of death and blood. Just wasn't my thing I guess.

I wasn't one of those people who dramatically collapses or throws up, though. I would just simply look away. Me and Zak were currently in the master bathroom, washing his wound off. Zak winced as the blood from his wounded arm washed away into the sink. "It's okay, just a little longer, Zak, and we can proceed to the next step . . . ," I assured. "The next step is even scarier! You're gonna have to stitch my arm up, which means stabbing a needle into my skin a bunch of times!" Zak exclaimed.

I giggled softly. "I wont stab you with it, Zak. I promise, I'll be gentle, okay?" "Fine," Zak mumbled. I turned off the water, grabbing a towel. I placed it over Zak's arm, lightly drying off his injury. I pulled out a stitching kit from a cabinet underneath the counter. I pulled out the needle. "To make things a bit more exciting for you, I'll let you pick out your thread color. What color do you want?" I asked. "We have black, dark blue, and purple," I added.

"Blue!" Zak exclaimed. I giggled once more. "I knew you'd pick blue. It's your favorite color, after all," I said, taking out the dark blue thread and closing the kit. "You ready?" I asked. Zak nodded. "Alright," I say, starting the process of stitching up his wound. Soon enough, the entire cut around his elbow was stitched up with dark blue thread.

I put the needle and thread back into the stitching kit, putting it back into the cabinet. I pulled out a roll of white bandages, tenderly wrapping them around Zak's wound. After I finished using the bandages, I put them away with the stitching kit. I rolled down Zak's sleeve, patting his arm gently. "There you go, Zak," I say with a smile.

"Thanks, Darryl!" Zak said, hugging me lightly. "You're welcome, Zak," I said, hugging him back. Believe it or not, soon, Zak got his coronation! He was officially the second king of the Blaze kingdom and the king of the Diamond kingdom.
