Zaks POV:

"Long time no see, Zak," said Jschlatt. I was stunned. How . . . how?! How is he alive?! I gulped before I spoke. "You're going to die, just like last time!" I shouted. I stepped back a little as I noticed Jschlatt start to walk towards me. He slipped his hand inside his pocket, pulling out a small knife.

"Guards!" I cried. Jschlatt only continued to approach me. I heard the clinks of the guards' iron boots rushing down the stairs. He suddenly sprinted towards me, latching onto my arm. He then pulled me towards him until we were face to face, putting the knife under my chin.

"Oh, but this time . . . I'm not alone." Jschlatt grabbed my chin, turning my head towards the window. I looked outside to see the chaos. The guards had arrived but had stopped in their tracks as they had seen what was going on outside the castle towers.

People were screaming, running in all directions. The ground was splitting apart from the middle, turning into an unbelievably large hole. Anything near it fell inside the pit. Mist contaminated the air. People were screaming so loud, it probably woke up everyone in the palace that had been sleeping. I looked back at Jschlatt who had an evil grin on his face as he watched. I looked back and to my horror, something huge was coming out of the massive hole.

A paw the size of a table had emerged from the pit. It was black, coated with scales. Its large, sharp claws were unsheathed, digging into the loose soil. Another scaled paw had then joined the other, its claws plunging into the ground. The ground only continued to fall apart as the beast made its way up to the surface.

A loud, low growl was heard from the crater as the creature pulled itself up. People only screamed louder, huddling their loved ones close as they watched the ground crumble, a beastly dragon emerging from the ground. "Oh, my God . . . ," I mumbled. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Guards from other kingdoms were outside, shielding the locals.

The beast then crawled out of the pit, allowing me to see its entire body. The dragon was bigger than Burj Khalifa, A.K.A, the largest building in the world, a whopping 2,717 feet tall! The dragon looked like it was at least 4,000 feet tall! It was midnight black with dark purple scales trailing down from its neck, to its underbelly. Its eyes glowed an emerald green and had black, diamond shaped pupils.

It then began to spit out green fire, spinning in a circle as it did so. Guards fired arrows at it, the arrows piercing through its thick, scaled skin. It only snarled, swinging its large tail at the guards, knocking them to the dusty cobble paths. I heard Darryl screaming my name, running down the stairs. I couldn't remove my eyes from the dragon.

That was when it spotted me, . . . us.
