Previously: Sam got scared during an investigation, scared for Colby. Then he kissed him.
"Does he know we aren't together?" Kat asks.
"No, I never told him we broke up."
"If you have feelings for him, you need to tell him the truth about us," she says.
"I can't, because I don't"
My phone ringing interrupts me. I look down at the screen and my stomach drops. It's Colby.
"Sam?"
"Colby is calling me," I say.
"Are you going to answer?"
"I mean, I have to right?"
I press the answer button and hear his panicked voice through the phone.
"Sam, where are you? Are you alright? What's going on? You just disappear-"
"Colby!"
"Huh?"
"You're rambling," I say.
"Sorry, I was just worried. Please come home, I want to talk," he says.
"I don't know," I say.
"Sam, we kissed. We need to talk about it."
"Do we though?"
"We can't just ignore it," he says.
"Why not?"
"Because it means something. Please just come home so we can talk," he says.
"Alright," I say.
