"Hey trust me, this will cheer him up."
"But he already has one-"
"You can never have too many cats."
"But Y/n-"
Poor Chan was cut off by a very loud door slam. Y/n had swung open Minho's bedroom will full force, making the boy inside turn his head to see the commotion. His eyes lightened up at the sight.
Y/n had two cats in her arms. One was an orange and white cat, and the other was younger and was striped and grey. The girl holding them grinned widely, waddling over to Minho and showing him the cats.
"They're cute, aren't they?" she giggled when one of them sniffed Minho's nose.
Minho brought up his hand, letting the cat sniff his hand before petting the orange and white cat. The second one soon nudged his hand, wanting to get petted too. Minho smiled softly at this, making Y/n grin like an idiot.
"Do you like them? They're yours if you like them."
He looked up at her, freezing when he realised that he hadn't properly focused on her face in about a week. He took a moment to take her face in before nodding with a gentle smile.
Y/n smiled back, taking a seat next to him. The orange and white cat hopped off her lap and jumped onto Minho's, curling up and quickly falling asleep. The second cat became jealous again and tried nudging Minho's arm.
Y/n laughed at this. "She's a needy one, isn't she?"
Just then, Soonie entered the room, taking a defensive position when he saw the two newcomers.
"Sooooonieee!" Y/n leaped up and went to get hold of the poor confused boy, bringing him over to the mini crowd.
Soonie sniffed the air at least a hundred times before taking steps closer and sniffing the two cats one by one. He hit the grey and striped cat with his paw gently, and the cat hit did the same back. Soonie sat down into a loaf, having a staring contest with the younger cat.
"You wanna name them?" she asked Minho. "What about similar sounding names? Soonie... Boonie.. no... Doonie... Doongie?"
"Doongie sounds nice," the boy spoke up in a quiet voice, making Y/n smile.
She pointed at the two cats excitedly. "Which one's Doongie? I say this one since they're kinda the same colour. I mean they're both have orange in their fur." She pointed at the orange and white cat fluffed up on Minho's lap, and the boy nodded in agreement.
"Thennnn... what about this little one?"
"Hey, Finding Dori is way better than Finding Nemo!" Hyunjin screamed from the other room.
"PERFECT!" she almost jumped out of the bed from excitement.
"What? Finding Dori?"
"No!" Y/n laughed. "Dori!"
Minho thought about it and the name ringed well. Soonie, Doongie and then Dori.
"It rings well," he stated, looking up to see Y/n's happy eyes on him.
When he only stared at her silently, the girl chucked lightly. "What? Did you miss my face?"
"Yes," he spoke bluntly.
She blinked a few times at his bluntness before smiling and scooting closer to the boy. She gently got hold of both his cheeks, looking directly into his eyes with a smile. "Take it all in then."
The two stared into each other's eyes. Minho's eyes went down to the girl's nose, lips and cheeks, and Y/n did the same. Even though it hurt to see the boy extremely fatigued, she kept smiling, hoping it would cheer the boy up.
