Marinette says hello to her parents but makes her way quickly to her room and collapses on her bed, Tikki flies out of her purse and hugs her face. "You okay Marinette?" She asks, "Yeah, I'm alright Tikki, I just wasn't expecting to have another break down." Marinette replies.
Marinette lays on her bed thinking and Tikki grabs a cookie to eat, Marinette assesses herself and realizes that she feels different. Like she really did cry away all her feelings for Adrien, maybe now she can finally feel like his friend, although the real test will happen when she has to be near him again. She panics slightly at that thought but reminds herself to breathe.
Tikki watches Marinette think about things, she hopes that this was the best thing for her holder, she loves Marinette very much and she wants her to be happy. She also silently agrees with Alya, Luka would be healthier for her. She saw the consequences of Marinette and Adrien getting together before Monarch was stopped and it was bad. Chat Blanc anyone? Anyway, she finishes eating her cookie and sits on Marinette's pillow and waits for her holder to speak.
Marinette turns her head on her pillow and looks at Tikki, unsure of what to say. The silence is broken by Marinette's phone ringing, Marinette grabs her phone out of her purse and answers it without looking.
Alya: Omg girl finally, are you okay?? Last any of us saw, you were sobbing in Luka's arms, what happened??
Marinette blushes slightly before answering
Marinette: (Tells her about the conversation with Adrien and how it felt like her heart was ripped out) So yeah, that's why I was crying. I can't be with him if I'm Ladybug, this secret is killing me. I am glad that I have you to talk about it with, but I still want to be able to love someone.
Alya: (Goes quiet over the phone) Everything will work itself out girl, I can feel it.
Marinette: (Sighs) I hope that you are right Alya, I don't know how much more I can take.
Alya: Do you need me to come over? It sounds like you might need some company.
Marinette: (Starts shaking her head no, before remembering that she can't be seen) No, thanks though. I think I might just need some more sleep, I appreciate the offer though, truly, thank you Alya.
Alya: Anytime girl, you know I'm there for you. I'll let our friends know that you're alright, if you want.
Marinette: Yeah, that would be great, thank you. I think I am gonna go to bed now, thanks for checking up on me, have a goodnight.
Alya: You too!
Marinette hangs up the phone and puts it on charge. She changes into her pajamas, says goodnight to Tikki and falls asleep.
