A Lukanette Love Story

Chapter 16

       Ladybug slingshots home and de-transforms and breathes a sigh of relief as she feeds Tikki a cookie. "Did you hear that Tikki? Chat Noir actually wants to help! It'll be a relief if his help leads us to Monarch faster!" Says Marinette, feeling some hope now. She rushes downstairs from her balcony to her room and pulls down her poster full of observations and theories and then goes over to her craft bin and pulls out another poster and starts copying things down.

       Tikki hovers and watches her holder work, feeling hopeful that maybe Adrien and Plagg will also have some insights that are helpful.

                                                           (The next day)

       Ladybug meets up with Chat Noir on a roof with a rolled-up poster in her hand. "Here Chat Noir, this has all the observations and theories about Monarch that I could think of." She says handing it to him. "Thanks Ladybug." He says and attaches it to his person, and then they do patrol. They finish and both head to their respective homes.

       Chat Noir lands in his room and de-transforms, he grabs the poster and unrolls it on his desk and takes a look at it, he noticed that Ladybug even left him some room to write down his stuff too. He sees that she had a lot of the same thoughts as him, but he did find it interesting that she put down his dads new Alliance rings on there as an observation. That got him thinking a lot actually, Ladybug even put what happened to when she accidentally got ahold of one. (The altered truth version, found one, went to fight a bad guy and then the next thing she knows an akumatized villain comes after her after the tracking data showed her crazy speed and steps on the ring) Adrien's eyes went wide as he read her story.

       That lead him to start wondering where the tracking data goes and who sees it, he wonders if he should ask his dad. But then he thought better of it, his dad doesn't say much on a good day, he would be angry if he thought Adrien was snooping. But maybe he'll ask Natalie, she has always been nicer and more giving with information. He transfers more thoughts and observations to the poster and then rolls it up and places it in his desk.

                                                 (Marinette's POV)

       Ladybug makes her way to her balcony and de-transformed back into Marinette and feeds Tikki a cookie. She breathes a sigh of relief and makes her way into her room, and she collapses onto her chair. She calls Alya and Luka and asks them to come over because she wants to tell them about Chat Noir.

       Alya and Luka enter Marinette's room ten minutes later. "Yay, you're here! Guess what!" Marinette says excitedly. "What's up girl?" replies Alya, Luka stands by to listen.

       "Chat Noir offered to help me figure out who Monarch is. It feels like a relief off my shoulders!" Marinette says happily, she shows them her poster full of information and explains how she made one for Chat. Alya hugs her, "That's great girl!" She says.

        "I feel like I can breathe a little and actually take a day or two off and not obsess, just fight some akumas, maybe hang with some friends and just let Chat Noir do some of the thinking about things." Marinette says, collapsing into her chair with a sigh of relief. Luka smiles at Marinette reassuringly, "I'm glad that you will be able to take some time for yourself Marinette, you deserve it." He says kindly.

They hung out for the rest of the night just chatting about anything and everything.
