Heidi was happily leaning against Steve at breakfast, picking at the fried potatoes on her plate with her bare fingers.
"Still feeling sick, Shaw?" Tony asked when he noticed she had barley touched breakfast.
"Oh, no I'm fine now. But you can't call me that anymore." Heidi said, yesterday was rough but even though she was still exhausted and sore she was determined not to spend all day in bed again.
"I told you, I can't call you both Rogers, it's confusing." Tony argued.
"Good, cause we all want to know what happens in the next SAW." Nat interrupted with a smile. Heidi picked up her fork and tried to force herself to eat some more of her breakfast, she just wasn't feeling it.
"I know what's wrong with you." Tony said, jumping up and running off before explaining himself. He came running back in a minute later with a small, individually wrapped, pill and slid it across the table at her.
"I don't need more drugs, Tony. What you gave me is more than enough." Heidi said as she ignored the pill on the table.
"Oh just trust me." Tony insisted.
"Stark if you drug her any more than you already have we'll be dragging her around." Steve protested.
"I know. I'm betting what I gave you is too much, feeling a little nauseous?" Tony asked, Heidi shrugged. "Just take it and see how you feel." Tony insisted. Heidi peeled the wrapping off the pill and took it without another thought.
"You're really going to trust him?" Steve asked. Heidi let out a small laugh and held onto his thigh. "He hasn't tried to kill me yet." She joked. No surprise about a half an hour later Heidi felt much more herself, willingly snacking throughout the next SAW movie.
"Please don't tell me you gave my wife pot." Steve said sternly to Tony who couldn't help but laugh.
"Stark.." Steve warned.
"Just a little. But it helped?" Tony defended.
"Dude, that's not cool." Sam said.
"You're kidding, right Tony? You didn't drug her without telling her, did you?" Wanda asked.
"Is anyone really that surprised? It's Tony were talking about." Clint pointed out.
Steve leaned Heidi against his chest, rubbing her side lightly. He had to fight back a laugh when she smiled up at him and he noticed how dilated her pupils were. "How are you feeling, sugar? Are you okay?" Steve asked sweetly. Heidi smiled a little bigger and nodded before focusing on the chips in her lap.
"I thought she'd be more fun." Tony finally admitted.
"Not cool, Stark." Nat said sternly. The group watched the rest of the series quietly, Heidi happily munching through the entire marathon.
"That's the most I've ever seen that girl eat." Sam teased as the credits rolled on the last movie.
"Me too. She's gonna feel like crap tomorrow." Wanda said with a small laugh.
"Maybe if Stark didn't try to make Heidi the next Cheech and Chong." Sam said with a laugh.
"None of this is funny." Steve said sternly. Heidi bumped into his chest gently, clearly still feeling the effects of the drugs. "It's a little funny, lighten up, daddy." She said.
"I'm sorry, what?" Sam blurted out, the whole rest of the group broke out into laughter.
"We're all going to pretend she didn't say that, understood?" Steve said, but he was smiling. She was cute when she was high. Nat threw a piece of popcorn at the two jokingly, one that Heidi caught and ate.
