My phone doesn't think "barista" is a real word and auto corrected it to "batista" most of the time, I'm trying to find them all and fix them but please assume what I'm trying to say if you find one Lol--
Heidi was your average 30 year old woman, she was the district manager for Starbucks despite hating their coffee. She was small, standing at only 5'1 and curvy but slender. She had shoulder length blonde hair and stunning blue eyes. Heidi was checking in on her last store of the night, one that had repeat complaints.
A man walked in and almost instantly he caught her eye. He was very tall and muscular, he had a sharp jawline and dirty blonde hair with bright blue eyes. He was stunning.
A young barista tended to the man while Heidi sat back and watched the interaction. When the man say down to drink his coffee Heidi approached him.
"May I ask if everything taste okay?" She asked sweetly to the man. He smiled nervously up at her "It's great, thank you" he said, he sounded shy.
"Steve Rogers" the man said, extending his hand to her. She gladly took it.
"Heidi Shaw, district manager" she said with a warm kind voice. A man came and sat next to Steve, smiling up at her as well.
"Sam Wilson." The man said.
"Maybe Steve can get your number?" Sam asked.
"Oh, of course, if you have any complaints in any New York branch you can give me a call" Heidi said as she pulled a business card from her bag.
"Can he call just to talk to you?" He blurted out, Steve elbowed him quickly which made Heidi chuckle.
"I wouldn't object" she timidly said before hearing a loud crashing in the back.
"I have to tend to that, excuse me" Heidi said before heading towards the back.
"What the heck, Sam?" Steve said.
"You're asking her on a date" Sam stated, Steve rolled his eyes but didn't argue, there was no point. He had to admit he was fascinated by her, so gorgeous and she carried herself so well.
Steve called Heidi 3 days after they met, he wanted to call the same day but Sam told him its not how dating works. Steve didn't even know how dating works anymore.
"Heidi Shaw, how may I help you?" She answered kindly. Her voice made Steve blush.
"Hey, it's Steve Rogers, how are you?" He said nervously.
"Oh, hi Steve Rogers" she said with a chuckle. "I'm good, things are good, how are you?"
"Better now." He said shyly.
"Is that so?" Heidi said, she was sure he could tell she was blushing.
"That is so. Can I take you out sometime?" He blurted out, he'd rehearsed this several times but quickly realized none of his scenarios included her saying yes.
"I would love to, I'm free on weekends, Tuesdays and Wednesday's. Every other day I work 16 hour days" her voice was soft and beautiful.
"So, Friday?" Steve offered, nervously scratching at the back of his hair.
"Friday is perfect, what time?" She said.
"Great! 8 o'clock work?" He responded with a big smile.
"Sure, I'll text you my address, but I have to go now, I'm pulling into a franchise as we speak"
"Okay, later." Steve said nervously.
--
Friday came quickly, she got an extra early day at work Friday so she was home in time to get ready for her date. Before Heidi could think about it there was a knocking at her door. She excitedly opened it and saw Steve smiling like a fool on the other side with a bouquet of lily's in hand.
