chapter 9

A BLUE PORTAL appeared in the sky, and a rumble was heard. All the siblings rushed out to the backyard. A man was on the other side, trying to get through.

"Everyone stay behind me!" Luther yelled out, putting his arm out to protect his siblings. Diego pushed through the siblings and said," Yeah, stay behind us."

"What is it?" Allison yelled out.

"It might be a black hole, I'm not sure." Luther yelled out, answering her question. The siblings stood behind Luther and Diego, unsure what to do.

"Well, I vote we run!" Klaus ran inside the house, leaving the rest of the siblings staring at the portal.

The trees were blowing towards the portal, and the wind was blowing rapidly fast.

Klaus came running back out of the house with a fire extinguisher in his hands.

"Out of the way!" He yelled at his siblings. He busted through them and threw the extinguisher in the portal.

"What was that supposed to do?" Allison shouted at him.

"You got a better idea?" He shouted back at her.

The man came through the portal with his mouth open and his arms out. He fell out of the portal, and the portal closed behind him.

He plopped on the ground, and he stood up. He looked around him and saw his siblings in front of him.

"Is it just me, or does anyone else see a tiny Number Five?" Klaus asked the confused siblings.

He looked down at his body, looked back up and muttered, "Shit."

The siblings surrounded Five, who was making a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.

"What's the date? The exact date?" He grumpily asked the group while making his sandwich.

"The 24th." Vanya replied.

"Of what?" He asked again, not lifting his head up to look at his siblings.

"March." Allison responded. He looked up at the group looking strangely at him.

"Good." He returned to making his sandwich.

They watched him as he continued to make his sandwich.

Suddenly, Luther stood up fast. "It's been seventeen years, Five."

He scoffed and said, "It's been a lot longer than that."

Five walked towards him, just to blink behind him to get the peanut butter. He blinked back to his original spot and opened the peanut butter.

"I haven't missed that." Luther mumbled to himself.

"Where did you go?" Diego asked the boy who was opening the jar of peanut butter.

"The future. It's shit by the way." He responded. He took out a butter knife and spread the peanut butter all over the bread.

"Called it!" Klaus yelled out, pointing his finger up in the air.
