chapter 10
EDYLENNE WAS LOOKING at a phone book, looking for the woman she was to eliminate. She couldn't find anyone under the last name is 'Greene.' She thought it didn't matter, presuming she didn't have a telephone. So, she had to search down and stalk every resident that lived where Millie lived.
She looked through the next house's window, and saw the same brown hair she had. She pulled out her sniper, she almost shot it, but stopped herself. It wasn't Millie. She frowned, and went back into town. She ran into an alleyway.
She put her gun down on the ground and tried using the briefcase to go back. It wasn't working the first time. So, she tried again. Nothing.
"The hell?" She questioned. She saw it glow a bit blue, and she's never noticed this before. It glowed a very blue, and she took a few steps away from the briefcase.
The next thing she knew, she was flung back into the brick wall, and watching the briefcase explode right in front of her eyes. She closed her eyes to prevent anything getting into her eyes.
She looked up, and saw the briefcase pieces on the ground.
She groaned in pain, and she was holding her side. It was all red, and bloody. She laid up and stood up from the ground.
She looked behind her, and there was a door wide open. She decided to enter the door, and she hiked up the stairs. She came across another door, and she decided to knock.
She heard shuffling from the other side. The door was opened by a woman who looked to be in her 40s. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a few wrinkles. She had an apron on, and some flour on her forehead.
"Oh, hello! Can I help you, sweet dear?" The woman exclaimed.
This made Edylenne confused. She looked down at herself, and realized she was much shorter and her clothes were baggy. She had shrunken.
"Shit." She thought to herself. She looked back at the woman, and stared into her eyes. "Can you help me?"
"Of course, dear!" She gasped in shock. She must have seen the wound.
"Oh my goodness! Get in here! You're bleeding!" She put her arms out to her back and lead her into the house. She was taken aback, because she was exactly how like Grace was.
The house seemed........weird. It wasn't like a house. It was like a store, but not really? But, there was bedrooms and tables and couches, and all that hunch.
There was a boy sitting at the table, and his head turned to Edylenne's direction.
"Eddie, give up your seat for this young girl." The woman lead Edylenne into her house towards the chair the boy was sitting in.
The boy stood up immediately and watched the woman put Edylenne in the chair.
"Would you like any tea, darling?" The woman asked the young girl.
She froze at the name. Only Five called her that. She hesitated and finally said, "Uh, yeah. You got any coffee instead? I like my coffee with cream and sugar."
The woman was confused by this, considering she has never seen a kid like coffee. She hesitantly walked over to the kitchen and started a pot.
