chapter 7
7 YEARS LATER, the duo was looking for a new place to stay. Remember the house with the quarry in the back? Yeah, that house fell down when they were looking for food. It wasn't stable enough, and they were both bummed out.
They also found a bike that the house had and used the bike and a duffel bag. They stored everything in the bag and ditched the wagon.
What Five didn't tell Edylenne was that he found a diamond ring in the house, and he was truly in love with her. He kept it in his pocket. The ring was brand new because he found it in the boxes that rings usually come in with.
They found a spot to rest for the night. It was a wooden plank that was able to fight about 3 people on it.
Edylenne laid on the planks first, clearly uncomfortable. Five laid next to her and she snuggled up against him. He put his arms around her waist and looked at the exhausted girl. She was staring at him.
"I'm sorry that I got you into this mess." Five told her. She looked at him in his eyes and said
"It's fine. I'm just tired." She replied back to him.
He kissed the top of her head and she smiled softly at him. He returned one back and closed his eyes. They both fell asleep in each others arms.

It had been 2 years later when he decided to propose to her. She happily accepted the offer and they loved each-other. They loved each other deeply.
But deep down, Edylenne wanted a normal wedding with her family watching. She wanted a father to walk her down the aisle, a best friend she never had give her maid of honor speech. And she wanted a first dance with slow music. And lots of tears from her family. But, she was happy with this as well.

"No, Five. It 3x(21≈5t•4s)•y. You aren't doing it correctly.
Five looked at the wall with equations and looked it over. He figured that she was right, considering she was smarter than him.
He noticed his mistake and scribbled it out, writing the correct formula.
They were both older, about 55 or 56. They had spent about 38 years in the apocalypse.
Edylenne watched Five write down the equations when she heard rocks rumbling around. She turned her head to it.
Five stood up and picked up his gun, with his attention to the sound. He loaded it and pointed it at the air.
Suddenly, a woman in all black and sunglasses came into their eyesight. Five pointed the gun at her and yelled, "Who the hell are you?"
The woman was carrying a briefcase. Edylenne thought it was impossible. The woman looked clean and she didn't understand. She thought they were the only ones left.
"Five and Edylenne Hargreeves. How lovely to finally meet you!" The woman exclaimed.
"He asked you a question! Who the hell are you?" She yelled at the woman, with the green energy emitting from her hands.
