Despair

A few days later...

Ni-ki's POV

'Maybe evaluating everything and everyone in these circumstances is the best idea. Although, I highly doubt that it's him who did it. What if he's hiding something from me. What if that's true? Would he really do that? No no.. he wouldn't conceal such thing away from me. I mean, I'm supposed to trust him. I'm supposed..
What if I shouldn't..?'

These kind of negative thoughts clouded my brimful head. I found myself blankly staring at the floor while thinking. Leeknow wouldn't do such thing.

But... I have to make sure.

I was waiting patiently when suddenly the door of my office opened wide.

"We brought them sir." There stood one of my guards wearing all black with 2 boys tied up behind him and another guard securing them.
I beckoned to them to bring them in front of me and sit them down.

Both boys had their hands and legs firmly tied and a piece of white cloth stuffed in their mouth. One guard walked over to us and removed the cloth in order for them to speak.

"Divulge." I demanded as i interlocked both my hands together.

"You've got to be kidding me Ni-ki."

"Not at all, Chan. Now tell me. Who did it."

"Leeknow wouldn't be very happy with your actions Ni-ki." The other boy exclaimed collectedly.

"Leeknow is going to get killed if he or his little minions don't confess who did it Jinnie. Last time I'm asking boys.. who, did it."

Both of them stared at me with a displeased look. Bang chan gritted his teeth in incredulity. I kept tapping my foot impatiently, waiting for a satisfying answer. It never came.

"TELL ME CHAN. WHO THE HELL DID IT." I aggressively slammed the desk with both my hands, earning a terrified expression from both of them.

"Listen Ni-ki. WE DONT KNOW." Jeongin yelled infuriated. Bang chan glanced at him anxiously.
My body relaxed as I fell back to my chair. After a few minutes i spoke up, fed up with the discussion.

"Alright then. If you say so. You can go." I composedly exclaimed, giving them a bitchy look.

"Whats wrong with you.." Jeongin faintly murmured, eager for me to hear it. I rolled my eyes and was soon enough left alone in my office.

Jeongin's POV

"Where the hell were you guys." Leeknow asked as he walked towards us. I looked over at Bang chan unsurely on whether or not tell him what happened a few hours ago. He lowered his head and shook it negatively.

"We uh we were out. Sorry boss." He raised his eyebrows but seems like he decided to brush it off.
I let out a small huff and regained my stability.

"Better not happen again if you haven't notified me." We both nodded and turned around to enter the aim training hall which was our primary destination.

"Why was Ni-ki acting like that." He breathed out.
I scoffed.

"He's insane. Whose idea was to put him in charge." I mentally face palmed myself out of wariness.

'I would be lying if i said that his odd behavior wasnt freaking me out. I personally wasn't extremely close with him but our interactions were friendly and serene.
He was also younger than us. That makes him more unpredictable. He could take it so wrong and maybe even try to murder Leeknow. However, Leeknow wouldn't kill his damn father. They have known each other for years...Plus.. Leeknow wouldn't let him kill him just like that. Just a careless boy wanting revenge. That'll end up well...'

My pondering was interrupted by loud gunshots echoing through the room. Thankfully i was wearing my safety headphones.

"Just.. stay away from him, okay? He has a loose screw and I wouldn't like any unwanted accidents."

I nodded and continued my training thinking about the whole situation over and over again.

'What if Leeknow knows who did it. Wouldn't he tell Ni-ki though? Weird..'

"...and um Jeongin,"

I turned my head towards Chan who had stopped shooting.

"Leeknow... Leeknow knows who did it." I raised my eyebrows, already knowing what's coming next.

"Dont tell me it's-"

"Hyunjin.." i whispered loudly enough for him to hear. He nodded and pursed his lips.

"Why dont we tell Ni-ki?? It'll get us out of trouble too!!" I whisper-yelled at him, frustration evident in my voice.

"He is gonna get killed dont you understand?? Its Hyunjin we're talking about!!" He replied, even more frustrated. I quickly caught up with the problem and nodded.

We're in big trouble...
