Wilbur closed the car door with a sigh, briefly leaning their head against the side before turning, book bag on their back and gift bag held firmly on hand. Tommy skipped in step with the green haired teen, excited to finally be going back to school after what was ultimately a little too long because of his repeated and various injuries.

The pair walked up the steps to the school, and the taller rolled their eyes at the side-wave from the impala as it drove off. Entering through the front doors, the blonde twin gripped onto his brother's black hoodie sleeve, his own pink cardigan standing out against the opposing shade. A bright smile graced his face, and his eyes flipped every-which-way, scanning the hallways for two familiar figures.

As the two made their way down the hallways towards their lockers, Wilbur sighed, shaking their free hand back and forth. They glanced down to the gift bag in their hand and bit their lip, trying to focus on the excited words of his brother instead of the various noises of the crowded hallway.

Tommy stopped at the lockers, tapping Wilbur's arm three times. The green haired teen turned and pulled their headphones down to their neck, biting back a grimace at the volume increase from their surroundings. They watched as their blonde brother's eyes lit up as he presumably caught sight of the people he was looking for in the crowded hallway, raising an arm to wave them down, despite the pair having the knowledge of the twins' lockers ingrained in the two's minds.

As the brunette-blonde pair came closer, Wilbur shuffled, slight blush appearing on their cheeks as they fiddled with the gift bag still in their hand. Tommy stepped forward, laughing wildly as Sam pulled him into a hug, spinning him around the hallway to the looks of the other students which went disregarded by the two.

Colby cleared his throat, stepping forward and bringing the arms that had previously been behind his back forward, revealing a wrapped box held carefully between his hands. "Uh- I know you don't really like Valentine's. But, it's still nice to be appreciated, and I like getting you presents, so here." The brunette said, nudging the green haired teen's shoulder with the medium-sized box.

Wilbur smiled, lifting their own gift bag into the other's eyesight and raising an eyebrow. "Trade you?"

Colby blinked, looking between his friend and the gift bag a few times before grinning wildly and nodding. Wilbur set the bag on the ground beside the brunette to gently take the box out of his hands, and Colby bent down to pick up the bag with a laugh. "I can't believe you got me something for Valentine's Day."

The green haired twin rolled their eyes, blush and smile still set on their face. "I mean, I had to pay you back for literally getting me a present on your birthday. This was just the most convenient day and soonest holiday."

The brunette blushed and then scoffed, lightly kicking at the others shoe. "Yeah, not just because you wanted to be my valentine or anything like that."

Wilbur spluttered around words, mouth opening and closing. Luckily, the blondes nearby broke the green haired teen's stumble by breaking apart and turning to their other respective other halves, smiles on both of their faces. Tommy turned to open his locker, and Wilbur caught eyes with Sam, who smiled so wide in return the green haired teen thought his jaw might break. The other pair walked off as the twins prepared for their first class of the day, presumably to do the same.

The taller twin sent them off with a wave, and a promise to not open their gift until the four were together again with free time at lunch. They set the medium-sized box from Colby gingerly inside of their locker, knowing that their thoughts would be on its contents for the entire day until they were able to tear (and knowing Colby -or more specifically, his wrapping skills- the paper surrounding the box would have to be torn) it open.
