Ah, valentines day. The day where you're supposed to spend time with the person you love because an old saint said so a long time ago.

Except Blake can't.

Gia and her family were out of town for the week (no doubt another devious plan by Mr dearest to keep Blake away from his daughter) therefore, Blake was unfortunately doing no funkin tonight.

He let out a metallic sigh as he lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

What else could he do to celebrate valentines?

He could practice singing, but it was no fun when he was singing alone. He could watch a crappy rom-com, but it would be boring with nobody to make fun of it with.

He looks out the window. Maybe he should just take a walk. It was a nice cloudless sky, and the sun was beginning to set.

Then again, there would probably be lots of couples walking too, holding hands and hugging, walking and sitting on benches together and all that jazz, and he would probably look weird if he was all alone.

Blake sighs again. He felt so lonely.
He needed someone else to spend valentines with. As friends.

He sits up, getting out his phone and looking through his contact list.

There were the spooky kids, but they were probably out causing innocent mischief for "lovey month" or something like that. There was carol, but she was probably out with Whitty, or maybe Sarvente. Either way she was unavailable.  And all his siblings were probably busy as well...

Blake was about to give up, but there was one other name he spotted.

Pico.

Blake smiled. They hadn't hung out in a while. And even if he was busy, he could still probably get some interesting conversation out of him.

Blake taps on his name and sends a message.

Yaboyblake: hey carrot top

He watches the screen for a few minutes before he gets a reply.

Peekochu: what up blueberry

Blake giggles a little, typing.

Yaboyblake: Happy pink and red hearts day lol

Peekochu: same to you
Peekochu: guessing you're spending it with cherry rose girl

Blake sighs sadly.

Yaboyblake: nope
Yaboyblake: her parents took her out of town for the week :(

Peekochu: dang
Peekochu: that's rough buddy

Yaboyblake: I'm so lonely T-T

Peekochu: same here tbh
Peekochu: Darnell is taking Nene out to the dumb valentines festival across town

Blake smiles a little. Maybe he didn't have to be alone.

Yaboyblake: wow

Peekochu: so I'm gonna be bored all night lol

Yaboyblake: lol

Blake then gets straight to the point.

Yaboyblake: say, it's been a while we hung out one on one
Yaboyblake: wanna have a guys night
Yaboyblake: just the two of us

The screen was blank for a little bit before Pico responded.

Peekochu: sure why not
Peekochu: I've got no plans

Blake smiled and fist pumped. "yes!"

Yaboyblake: awesomesauce

Peekochu: where you wanna meet up
