Ellie was sitting on the ground, picking apart a rose and pondering her feelings.

A couple of weeks ago, the military had hired a new part-time medic on their team who specializes in cybernetic augmentation, a very smart Russian woman by the name of Doctor Valeria Vinschpinsilstein. (My hc of her first name)

(Nobody on the base could pronounce her name without some practice, so she usually just went by Dr V or Dr Vin, or just Val to her closer friends.)

She was a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and alluring violet eyes who usually wore rose-tinted glasses, and her accent made anything she said sound sophisticated, even if it was just something about the scheduled appointments for today.

From the moment she first met the good doctor, Ellie couldn't stop thinking about her. She was so gorgeous and talented... She really wanted her to be her girlfriend.

Of course Ellie, being the bi disaster she is, didn't know the first thing about asking a girl out.

She had planned to just go up to her and say "he doc, can you replace my heart? I think mine's been stolen~" with finger guns, but that just sounded lame... Ellie was surprisingly not very good at flirting.

Although she does have a couple of gay boy-friends who are also bi-sasters, so maybe they could help her out.

She gets up, and goes to find them.

Henry and Charles were sitting on Henry's favorite cliffside, watching the sunset together like they normally do.

"Hey guys!" Ellie says as she walks up behind them.

They turn to her. "Oh hi Ellie!" Charles says with a smile. "What's up?"

Ellie smiles and goes to sit beside them. "I have a question." She says.

Henry shrugs. "Okay, shoot."

Ellie looks at them.

"Have you guys ever had crushes on anyone?" She asked. "Before you were together I mean."

They both think for a bit, and Henry answers first.

"Well, I can't really think of anyone that I've had a crush on, per say..." he says. "I was very single all throughout my high school and college years."

He thinks. "Although, there was that one time at a high school party where I kissed a girl during spin the bottle.."

He laughs weakly. "And then her boyfriend punched me in the throat so hard that I couldn't talk for like 5 years straight."

Ellie and Charles cringe. "Oooh..."

Henry laughed. "Yeah, that wasn't fun, definitely not an ideal first kiss."

He shrugged. "And then after that, I didn't really have any crushes or dates until I met Charles."

He strokes Charles's cheek, smiling. "My second kiss was much better than the first."

Charles blushes and smiles. "Aww, hen, you flatter me."

Ellie smiles. "Wow, interesting." She says.

She then turned to Charles. "What about you bud? Any flings before henry?"

Charles thinks. "Well, I never dated anyone, but I sure had plenty of crushes." He says with a giggle.

"My first real crush was on captain victoria grit, back when I first joined, but she was just too hard headed and serious for me." He says. "Plus, she thought all my plans were stupid..." he says sadly.
