A sequel to "what you taught me" because why not
It felt good to be back in Philadelphia.
Last time I was there was in 2021, when I met the most beautiful girl in the world.
But as it turns out she had a boyfriend.
So it goes...
It was nice to be back in the city of brotherly love though. Although contrary to popular belief, it's not always sunny there.
But today was actually very sunny.
I was walking along the train tracks, like I used to do when I visited philly. Occasionally, a train would zip by, making my aqua Ombre hair blow in the breeze. It felt good.
I was walking to that same spot... where I first met gia.
But when I got there... the speakers weren't there anymore...
I sighed sadly. Guess she moved on...
"Annie...?"
That voice... I recognized that voice...
I turned around, my eyes widening.
It was her!
"Gia!" I said, smiling widely.
She ran to me, tackling me in a big hug. "It's so good to see you again!"
I blushed, smiling and hugging her back. "You too!"
She pulls back. "I didn't know you were coming back to philly!"
I giggled. "Well, I'm here on another vacation!"
She giggled. "great!"
I admired seeing her in person again. Those ruby eyes, those rose lips, that spectacular figure, that glorious hair... She was just as beautiful as the last time I saw her, if not more so.
She then smiled. "Well since you're here, would you like to have another singing session?"
She giggles and takes my hand in hers. "With... just the two of us...?" she says with a sparkle in her eye.
I blushed. "Oh my..." I smiled. "I'd absolutely love to..."
She smiles. "Awesome!"
She then magically summons her speakers out of nowhere, going to sit on the biggest one as usual.
She gestures for me to sit beside her, so I smile and hop up.
"Wow, these things are more comfier than I expected." i say.
She giggles and nods. "Yeah, You get used to sitting on em pretty quickly."
She scoots a little closer, making me blush and smile, looking away.
Then I remembered something, my face falling a bit.
"Wait.. where is Blake...?" I asked.
Gia shrugs. "I dunno. Probably out rap battling random people." she giggled. "I hope he has mercy on them."
I tilted my head. "But... aren't y'all dating? I'd expect him to be with you..."
She giggled nervously.
"Well... we actually broke up since the last time you visited."
I gasped. "Oh no, I'm sorry..."
(although secretly I was screaming YES)
She giggles. "Oh no, it's fine. It wasn't a rough breakup or anything. We just weren't interested in each other anymore."
I smiled a bit. "Oh, well that's good."
She nods. "Yeah, we had a long talk, and we decided that we both liked each other more as friends than as lovers." she says with a small smile. "We still care for each other though."
I smiled. "Well that's good."
Gia nods. "yeah."
I think for a bit, then ask, "do you know if he's dating anyone else?"
She nods. "Well the last I heard, he got back with his ex boyfriend from school after we broke up..."
I tilted my head. "Really?"
She nodded. "Yeah..."
She then giggled. "You know, while Blake and I were dating, I always kinda had the feeling he wasn't completely over him..."
I smiled a bit. "Hmm..."
Then I scooted a bit closer. "C-can i tell you something...?"
She nods. "Of course!"
I take a deep breath.
"I... I think you're so much cuter and funnier than any of my exes."
She blushes. "O-oh, thank you!" she says with a smile.
I smiled gently.
"Ever since we met, I've had feelings for you... you're so gorgeous..." I say, looking her in the eyes.
Gia puts a hand on her chest. "Aww, aren't you sweet..." she says, smiling.
I giggled. "I try to be."
I slowly shift to wrap my arm around her shoulders.
She giggles and reaches up to hold my hand.
"Thanks for not doing the fake yawn trick." she says.
I smiled at her. "No problem, I think that trick is overused anyway."
She then pulls her remote out of nowhere with her free hand.
"So, you wanna sing together?"
I nod. "I'd love nothing more, g."
She smiled and pressed play."
"3, 2, 1, Date!"
So began the, not really battle, it was more like, two-sided serenading. She'd sing a few notes, id echo them back to her, and we'd sing a few verses together. The song itself was very slow and mellow, with a steady 4/4 beat. (breaking point from fnf hd)
It felt truly magical.
When the song finished, she leaned her head on my shoulder, sighing happily.
"That was beautiful.." she said.
I smiled gently. "Yes it was... it was the sweetest song I've sung in a while."
She nuzzles my shoulder. "You're wonderful, Annie."
I blushed. "Aww stop it, you weren't half bad yourself." I say, gently stroking her gorgeous, soft hair.
Unfortunately, that was when my watch beeped.
"Aw dang it..." I say, slowly removing my hand from her shoulder. "I gotta get going..." I say with a frown.
Her face falls. "Okay..." she says, getting off the speakers. I do the same.
I sighed. "Bye g, thanks for another lovely night." I said with a smile.
She giggled. "Wait, Annie, before you leave, there's something I wanna give you."
I turned to her. "Yeah?"
She smiled, and took my face in her hands, making me blush. Time seemed to stop.
As she kissed me, I felt my heart go from 20 to 2000.
Her beautiful, plush lips pressed against mine. I could tell she was wearing cherry flavored lip gloss, which complimented her gorgeous red color scheme very nicely. And I mean the FANCY cherry lip gloss, not the cheap stuff you get at the dollar store checkout.
She pulled back, looking in my eyes with her beautiful dark pink ones, her pupils almost looked like little hearts.
"Hehe, something to remember me by." she said with a little wink.
I smiled brightly. "T-thank you..."
She turns away, waving. "See ya round, dear~"
I wave back, a bit dazed as I walk off.
Never say never.
