When the chopper finally gets back to base, everyone gets off, and Galeforce calls Henry and Charles into his tent to review the evidence.

"Fine work, boys." he says, looking through the file Henry gave him. "With this proof that they stole the Romanian ruby, we'll be able to bring them in in no time!"

Charles smiles. "Good job, henry."

Henry nods. "I do my best."

The general nods. "Calvin, I'm giving you some extra merits."

Charles' eyes sparkle. "Oh, thank you sir!" he smiled and clasped his hands together.

The general smiled, then turned to henry.

"And Stickmin? I'll get the government to drop all charges against you."

Henry smiles. "Thank you." he says quietly.

Galeforce smiled. "I'm also giving you the unofficial title of 'government supported private investigator.'"

Henry smiles wider. "cool!"

Galeforce nods to them. "You both did okay for your first time out together. You two make a great team."

Charles' smile fades a bit, then he looks over to Henry, who nervously smiles.

Charles' smile returns. "Yeah, we do, don't we?"

After the general dismisses them, they stand outside the tent, looking at each other awkwardly, neither one knowing what to say.

It was the first time they'd been alone together since the breakup.

"Well... I guess I'll..."Henry starts to say before being interrupted.

"D-don't talk..." Charles says, not sounding angry, moreso... scared...?

Henry backs up a bit, shutting up.

They stand in more awkward silence.

Then, Charles looks away, holding a hand out to him.

Henry flinches, then hesitantly walks forward and takes it.

The two silently walk together out of camp, where nobody can see them.

When they're alone, Charles takes a deep breath, looking into Henry's eyes.

"Listen, Henry... I..."

He struggled to find the words as Henry watched him with a patient smile, waiting for him to speak.

"I-I'll.. I'll give you another chance."

Henry's eyes go wide.

"I-if you promise to stop stealing stuff, and to not keep any more secrets... I'll... I'll take you back." He says, smiling gently.

Henry thinks about it for a second, then nods, tearing up. "I-I promise!"

He hugs Charles tightly, Charles hugging back with a wide smile.

"I've missed you, Charlie... and I love you soooooo MUCH!" He says, nuzzling his shoulder.

Charles laughs happily. "I've missed you too... and, uh, same." He says, kissing Henry on the lips gently.

After they pull back, Henry giggles. "Same?" He says with an eyebrow raise.

Charles laughs again again. "I'm kidding." He kisses him softly again.

"Love you too, idiot." He says after pulling back.

Henry wipes his eyes. "Really?"

Charles nods. "Yeah, hehe... maybe I'd love you more if you make me those apple cinnamon muffins like you used to."

Henry nods. "Oh definitely, I was planning to make some as soon as I get back home."

Charles' eyes sparkle. "Great!"

Henry giggles. "Um... I have another question."

Charles nuzzles him. "Yeah?"

"D-do you really think i have bad hair?"

Charles laughs.

"No, your hair looks fine, babe." he says with a kiss on his head.

Henry blushes and sighs. "Good."

The two embraced again, the light of the sunset shining on them.

They were back together, and now nothing could rip them apart.
