Sorrow still had a hold of Henry as he shut the door to his apartment behind him.

It'd only been a day or so since the accident where he'd lost the most valuable thing he had...

Charles.

After the accident, the general had given him some well-needed time off so that he could be alone to grieve, which he appreciated. He'd packed up his things and headed back to the little apartment in the city he called home.

So here he was, silently making his way to his room, setting his bag down and lying down on his bed. He clutched his pillow as he started to cry again. .

He didn't know what to do anymore.

Charles was his everything... he had been a lousy criminal, stealing stuff just to survive, when suddenly, like a miracle sent from above, Charles had come into his life and helped him turn it around, and help him learn to be a genuinely good person.

But, I guess not every miracle can last forever...

Henry sniffles, wiping his eyes.
If only there was a way he could see him, just one last time...

Then he suddenly remembered something.

He had an old friend who loved fooling around with time and space. An inventor who made the most wacky gadgets and machines, which mostly failed, but sometimes ended up being really useful.

The one and only Gabriel Wilford, otherwise known as Gadget Gabe.

Henry gets his phone and clicks on Gabe's number, then holds it up to his ear as it rings.

"Allo, this is Gabe."

Henry smiles. "Hey man, it's henry."

"Oh hey dude! I haven't seen you in ages!" Gabe responds. "How've you been?"

Henry sighs a bit. "Not so good..."

"Aw man, what's wrong?"

Henry sniffles a bit. "It's a long story... Could I come see you...?"

"Sure."

After Henry had made the drive out to Gabe's place, the old abandoned factory where he built all his wacky inventions undercover, they'd said hi, caught up, and made their way to his break room, sitting on his old couch.

"So, what's on your mind?" Gabe asked.

Henry sighed a bit. "Well, it's about my... I guess now ex, boyfriend..."
He then tells him the lengthy story of what happened on the rocket ship.

After he finished, Gabe covered his mouth. "Oh my god... I'm so sorry..." he says, patting Henry's shoulder. "That must have been horrible..."

Henry nodded. "You have no Idea.."

Gabe sadly keeps petting his shoulder.

Henry scoots a bit closer. "So, now I need your help with something."

Gabe nods. "Sure. what is it?"

Henry looks him in the eye. "Since you like messing around with time and space... Do you have any way I could see Charles again?" Henry asked. "Even for just a little bit..."?"

He looks down. "I just need to tell him sorry, and say goodbye."

Gabe considered this.
"Hmmm..." he said, then puts his hand on his chin, thinking for a bit.
"I suppose, it might be possible... if i..."

After some pondering, he seems to come to a conclusion, then looks at Henry nervously.

"Ok, I have an idea.... Buuuut you aren't gonna like it."
