"No," she looked up surprised, "I hurt you. I didn't understand that you were protecting me and I couldn't see that you were ready to tell me. I jumped to conclusions before you had the chance to explain things to me. I'm sorry I hurt you. Can you forgive me?"

She bit her lip and hugged me tightly.

"You're already forgiven Inu. I understood why you reacted the way you did. I don't blame you." I frowned and pulled away looking down at her.

"No. I should've never reacted that way. It was wrong because you had no intention of hiding it from me. You couldn't tell me right away, but you've never not been honest. Even before you knew why I was in your temple you protected me. You were always planning ahead the moment you came to this world. You knew what you would have to fix, and the moment you found yourself in this world you already planned to," she looked surprised, "you took the blame for what Artemis did and did everything in your power to fix all the wrong things she had done because you knew about all of them. I was stupid to compare you to the man who hurt you and your family. I was stupid to think you wouldn't tell me what happened when you got the chance. You are a human who was thrown into the world of gods, demons, and dark hunters with no one by your side. You've made a name for yourself and become a goddess with your own power."
I saw the tears in her eyes and she bit her lip.

"I will always tell you whatever is going on even if I can't do it right away. Secrets ruined my family and I won't risk them ever doing it again. You, Ash, Tory, Apollymi. You mean so much to me and I would never forgive myself if anything ever happened to any of you," she looked away, "I love you Inu and I will always always tell you what happens when I can. Okay?"

She smiled at me and I pulled her into my arms. She sobbed against my chest. I rested my head against hers.

"I love you too, Kaori." The door opened and I looked over to see Tory.

She smiled at me, "we want to invite you and Kaori over for dinner tonight. If she is up for it."

I looked down at Kaori and she looked up at me. She looked so tired. I looked at Tory and shook my head.

"Maybe next time. It's been a rough day, and she needs some rest." I looked down at Kaori and she smiled at me before looking at Tory.

"Another time. I will call tomorrow and we will set a day. I do want to say goodbye to you and Ash though before we leave." She pulled away from me and hugged Tory.

Akri came in and smiled at Tory and Kaori. Kaori pulled away from Tory and then looked at Akri. She walked up to him and hugged him tightly, being careful of his hair.

"Thank you for helping me today. For having a way for me to get an ultrasound. Not tonight, but tomorrow I want to make plans for all of us to have dinner. I love you so much Ash," he rested his cheek against the top of her head, "I love you too, big sister."

She pulled away and looked up at him, and then jumped up and hugged him wrapping her arms around his neck, still careful.

"I'm honored to be considered your sister." I heard the emotion in her voice and smiled once she pulled away.

He cradled her face in his hands and kissed her forehead, "and I am honored to be your little brother. If you need anything before tomorrow please don't hesitate to call."

Kaori nodded and Akri left with Tory. She turned to me. I smiled at her and held my arms open for her. She came to me and hugged me.

"Let's go home, please." I kissed her head.

"Let's go home." A door appeared behind her and I pulled away from her.

I opened the door and saw her room on the other side. It was a mess but I understood. She pulled away and walked backwards pulling me into her room.
