Author's Pov:
"Preetaaaa... please, just wear it!" Priyanka yelled out her name, then lowered her voice as she pleaded.
Preeta finally woke up after a while, only to be confronted with Priyanka's plan for her outfit.
"Oh come on, I haven't worn this dress in years..." Preeta complained irritably, tossing the dress at someone who had just entered the room.
"Why are you two shouting so much?" Ankit grumbled, catching the dress as it hit his face, his tone filled with frustration as he raised his voice.
"Why are you shouting?" Preeta and Priyanka both snapped back at him in unison.
"Why is everyone shouting?" Karan stormed into the room, his voice booming as he tried to calm the chaos.
"Because I don't want to wear this dress!" Preeta retorted, emphasizing each word as she shot daggers at Priyanka with her eyes.
"Well, I'm not letting you wear that kurti or anything Indian or Indo-western today... you're wearing this, and it's going to be purely western!" Priyanka commanded, her tone stern as she glared at Preeta like a mother scolding her child.
"What's with this childish stubbornness?" Ankit muttered, irritated by Priyanka's insistence.
"Ankit, she has such nice clothes, but she never wears them! I found this dress in her bag," Priyanka explained, exasperated, revealing that she had gone through Preeta's bag while she was fast asleep and discovered the beautiful dresses.
"I brought these clothes all the way from Bangalore and haven't worn them yet, thanks to your stubbornness!" Preeta shot back, shoving the clothes back into her bag with frustration.
"But this dress is so pretty!" Priyanka pouted like a child, her eyes pleading.
"Then you wear it!" Preeta replied with a sarcastic smile, causing Priyanka to make a face in response.
"No way... it's final! Preeta is wearing this dress, and there will be no further discussion on this matter. Got it, everyone?" Priyanka declared, handing the dress to Preeta and issuing her orders.
"But we haven't said a word this whole time!" Ankit and Karan chimed in, looking confused as they watched the two girls bicker like cats.
"Fine," Preeta conceded, her frustration evident as she grabbed the dress, making Priyanka beam with satisfaction.
Preeta went into the bathroom to change, while Karan, equally frustrated by their argument, retreated to his room to change his outfit.
Preeta did her hair and applied minimal makeup with Priyanka's help.
The two girls were now sitting in the living room, while Ankit kept glaring at Karan's room.
"Looks like Ankit is missing Karan... that's why he's been staring at his room for so long," Priyanka teased, making both girls laugh at Ankit.
