Kunikidazai Oneshots

Nicknames (part 2)

(A/N: hiiii! I've decided to write a sequel for "Nicknames" and now it's Kunikida's turn to come up with nicknames. Without further ado, enjoy!)

It had been a couple days since Dazai had accidentally called Kunikida a nickname at work. Suffice to say Kunikida was still embarrassed over it, and Dazai made sure to tease him plenty over it.

"Kunikida-kun loves me so much that he gets embarrassed over me publicly calling him a nickname. How precious," Dazai teased as they sat on the couch together.

"Shut up..." Kunikida was hiding his face in his knees.

"Nah."

"...Why not?"

"Because you're so much fun to tease."

"I get that a lot."

"Because it's true."

Kunikida sighed, still not looking up.

Getting an idea, Dazai scooted closer to Kunikida until their shoulders were touching.

Kunikida suddenly became very aware of how close Dazai was, and it only added to his embarrassment.

Dazai kissed the top of Kunikida's head.

Kunikida became a thousand times more flustered.

Dazai laughed.

"This isn't funny..." Kunikida's voice was muffled.

"Yes, it is." Dazai kept laughing.

Kunikida finally looked up to glare at Dazai.

Dazai smirked in response.

Kunikida sighed and turned his attention to his notebook, beginning to write some things down.

Dazai watched Kunikida curiously.

Kunikida tried to move the notebook out of sight.

"Kuuuunnnniiiiikkkkiiiiiiiiddaaaaaa," Dazai complained.

"What?" Kunikida asked.

"I wanted to see what you're writing."

"If you must know, I'm writing down nicknames."

"For me?"

"I don't know who else I'd write them down for."

"Kunikida-kun is finally joining me in the nickname business!"

"The nickname business?"

"Yep! It's where we come up with nicknames for each other."

"I see."

"Whatcha got so far?"

"I'm not telling you."

"Whhhyyyyyyy...?"

"You'll just have to wait and see until I use them."

"But I'm a very impatient being!"

"Too bad."

"You're so mean..."

"No."

"Yes. You're being so unbelievably cruel to me. I can't believe you're making me suffer like this. I thought you loved me." Dazai clung onto Kunikida's arm and fake cried.

Kunikida sighed and patted Dazai's head. "Calm down, love."

Dazai sat up straight and looked at Kunikida in shock.

Kunikida looked back at Dazai, confused. Then he suddenly realized what he'd done and slapped his hand over his mouth. Suffice to say he was embarrassed.
